Born in Atlanta, GA, Micah Jesse grew up fascinated with the fabulous lives of the rich and famous. Micah found himself glued to the tube at an early age mimicking the likes of Regis Philbin and Ed McMahon on Star Search. At age 15, Micah begged his parents to “set him free” on Main Street in Park City during the Sundance Film Festival to meet some of his favorite stars such as Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Pauly Shore.
But that was just the beginning.
After graduating from North Springs High School in 2005, Micah wanted the quintessential New York experience–living and working in the media capital of the world. He enrolled at Hofstra University in September 2005 and quickly became a recognizable face among the student body. Pulse, the campus magazine, wrote a full-page feature article about Micah titled, “True Life: I’m A Hofstar. A Glimpse Into The Life Of Hofstra’s Own Celebrity Student,” chronicling Micah’s superior grades and much-buzzed-about internship with music mogul Tommy Mottola.
In Summer 2006, Micah interned at Casablanca Records in New York City as an publicity assistant. He assisted on various promotional projects including the record release party for NextSelection recording artist, Cassie, Spanish singing sensation Thalia and generated buzz about British singer/songwriter, Mika. Micah Jesse quickly became a favorite at Tommy Mottola’s office and began working at The Mottola Company, taking calls from some of the most influential names in the music business. The following year, Micah Jesse worked as an assistant to YouTube starlet Mia Rose for NextSelection. He introduced her to red carpet events by covering the gamut of New York City glamour: dressing her, doing her make-up and making sure she was photographed alongside celebrities like Scarlett Johansson and socialite-heiress-supermodel Lydia Hearst. Jesse garnered press hits for Mia Rose in Women’s Wear Daily and a span of online media outlets.

Micah Jesse began his celebrity and lifestyle blog in April 2007, and within a year’s time, MicahJesse.com was born. The site features “Micah-isms,” a term he created for catchy words and phrases exclusive to the site. MicahJesse.com has quickly become a go-to destination for positive and refreshing celebrity news, sightings, interviews, and event coverage, as well as a place to spot the latest trends in entertainment, fashion, beauty and music. Micah Jesse takes you on his journey through the “suite life” from a sweet perspective, by always remaining positive and vibrant.
Micah has been a freelance red carpet reporter for both Us and OK! Magazine.
In 2010, Micah Jesse landed his first regular TV gig as a co-host on Music Choice network’s most watched on-demand show, “Certified.” Throughout the year, he also appeared on “LIVE! With Regis and Kelly,” Associated Press TV, Fox News, and CNN Headline News program “Issues with Jane Velez-Mitchell.” He was featured in full and half-page spreads in YRB Magazine, Blackbook, and 944 as an emerging face in nightlife and entertainment. He also announced that he was being sponsored by Chevrolet as their “Entertainment Cruze-arati,” covering everything entertainment in an official campaign for General Motors’ newest car, the Cruze.
