She just had a baby about 9 months ago, but boy, does Shakira know how to bounce back!
T-Mobile announced today a multi-year partnership with international singer, songwriter and music icon, Shakira, and kicked off the collabo with a mega concert in New York’s Bryant Park. The Grammy Award-winner performed to an estimated crowd of 7,500 people, celebrating the phone carrier’s announcement that it is offering unlimited global data and texting in over 100 countries to qualifying Simple Choice customers at no extra charge.
“Today is all about bringing the world closer together,” Shakira said in the press release. “I’m excited to partner with T-Mobile and look forward to being able to share my music in new and innovative ways.”
The booty-shaking hit maker performed some of her biggest songs including “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Whenever, Wherever,” and “Underneath Your Clothes.” After the jump, watch Shakira perform “Loca” in the middle of Bryant Park:

John Mayer was joined by his on-again girlfriend Katy Perry at the Friar’s Foundation Gala honoring legendary actor and comedian Don Rickles on Monday night. The love birds were reportedly very affectionate all night and were photographed leaving the event together, and later spotted at the trendy Greenwich Hotel.
Rickles was honored by the Friars Foundation in NYC’s Waldorf Astoria with their lifetime achievement award for comedy. Hollywood’s most elite came out to pay tribute to the comedy legend including Bob Newhart, Robert De Niro, Joan Rivers, John Stamos, Billy Crystal, and Bette Midler.
The night was filled with tribute videos by a number of late-night comedy show hosts including David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel, Jay Leno and Craig Ferguson. The event’s grand finale was a singing rendition of “The Best Is Yet To Come,” performed by Bette Midler, Billy Crystal, Diana Krall, Natalie Cole, Bob Newhart, Tony Danza and more.

The Trevor Project, founded in 1998, is an American non-profit organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. Through a toll-free telephone number, it operates “The Trevor Lifeline”, a confidential service that offers trained counselors. The project also provides guidance and vital resources to parents and educators in order to foster safe, accepting and inclusive environments for all youth, at home and at school.
Each year, on both coasts, the organization brings together some of Entertainment’s most famous (and loved) faces from the stage to the television for their annual fundraising gala, Trevor LIVE. This year the event was hosted by “Glee” star Jane Lynch, and featured performances by American Idol runner-up and Interscope recording artist Jessica Sanchez and “Kinky Boots” TONY Winner Billy Porter, as well as special appearances by Meghan McCain and her mother Cindy McCain, Andy Cohen, “Precious” actress Gabourey Sidibe, Willie Garson, “Jersey Shore” stars Snooki and JWoww.
After the jump, watch Jessica Sanchez perform “Clarity” with the PS22 Chorus…
