I am thrilled to announce that I am the new Entertainment Correspondent for the WWE and The Creative Coalition‘s Be A STAR alliance!

The message is simple: Don’t be a bully, Be A STAR… Show Tolerance And Respect.

The organization’s mission is to ensure a positive and equitable social environment for everyone regardless of age, race, religion or sexual orientation through grassroots efforts beginning with education and awareness.

I’m used to interviewing television and movie stars, but on Friday (May 4th) at the Be A STAR rally at the South Bronx Academy for Applied Media, I had the pleasure of interviewing a very different (and much greater!) type of star — WWE Superstars — including Eve Marie Torres, Mark Henry, Sheamus, and Alberto Del Rio.

Friends, family & notable members of the media came out in numbers to celebrate the 5 Year Anniversary of MicahJesse.com on Thursday night!

Micah Jesse set out to give back to the tune of “5 for 5″ — and fundraise $5,000 for a very important cause: The Bully Project! The fundraising goal was met and surpassed before the event deadline of May 3rd. That’s a lot to celebrate!! Even Cynthia Lowen, producer of “Bully,” the Weinstein Company film, came out!

Friends, family, celebrities and members of the media joined me in celebrating five years of MicahJesse.com at my big anniversary bash, presented by NIVEA, on Thursday (May 3rd) at Canoe Studios in NYC!

A plethora of stars came out to support, including fellow TV hosts like Carrie Keagan, Rocsi Diaz, and Amanda Seales, reality stars and personalities like “Bachelor” lovebugs Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum, “Mob Wives” star Drita D’Avanzo, “Project Runway” fan favorite Joshua McKinley and stylist-to-the-stars Phillip Bloch, singers like Melanie Fiona and Miguel, and so so so many more!

Red hot female DJs DJ Kiss and DJ Kalkutta kept the energy high all evening long, while guests mixed and mingled, taking photos in the NIVEA kissing photo booth and downing Tic Tac‘s (in signature MJ colors of course!)

Guests sipped specialty cocktails from Malibu Red and ABSOLUT Vodka and snacked on yummy hor d’oevers and custom cupcakes from Baked By Melissa.

MicahJesse.com celebrates five years of fabulousness!

On Thursday (April 3), Micah Jesse’s favorite “celeBFFs” came out to show their support for his five years in entertainment, including lovebirds Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum (ABC’s “The Bachelor”), Angela Simmons (MTV’s “Run’s House”), Carrie Keagan (VH1′s “Big Morning Buzz Live”), Carolina Bermudez (Z-100 on-air radio personality), Drita D’Avanzo (VH1′s “Mob Wives”), Fredrik Eklund (Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York”), Jonathan Cheban (E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”), Joshua McKinley (Lifetime’s “Project Runway”), Paul Iacono (MTV’s “The Hard Times Of RJ Berger”), celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, Rocsi Diaz (BET’s “106 & Park), and singer Melanie Fiona.

This year the MJ celebration was held at Canoe Studios in New York City — a gorgeous space that you may recognize as the backdrop from Beyonce’s ”Love On Top” music video!

Before entering the exclusive event, VIPs took HOT SHOTS on the blue carpet and shared why they love MJ!  Everyone was dressed to the nines, and Micah looked absolutely peach-perfect in his bold Moods of Norway suit and Carlo Pazolini shoes.  As they walked into the party, guests were offered delicious Malibu Red cocktails and whisked away into the main room where hot beats were mixed all night by DJ Kalkutta and DJ Kiss while guests hung out in the BoConcept VIP area, flanked by security.

When guests weren’t drinking and mingling, there was so much to do — from taking pictures at the HOT SHOT photo booth and the NIVEA USA kissing booth to enjoying endless hors d’oeuvres and cupcakes from an elaborate MJ 5 Year display, courtesy of Baked By Melissa.  And there were plenty of Tic Tacs on hand (in signature MJ colors, of course!) for those who needed to freshen up!

The celebration didn’t end there!  MJ and some of his closest pals rode off to the after-party at AVENUE, safely and in style, thanks to GM Northeast.

What a fun Halloween week!

Starting on Thursday night this year, it seemed like Halloween was the new Hannukah (5 is the new 8!). But the most fun party of all was on actual Halloween night (Monday Oct 31) at the W New York Halloween Social, DJed by Chris Baio of Vampire Weekend.

MJ came dressed as an 80′s “Party Monster” (equipped with a cotton candy-flavored lolli) and helped co-judge the costume contest with some fellow fab New Yorkers, including The Village Voice’s Michael Musto, Paper Magazine’s Mickey Boardman and NYLON’s Faran Krentcil.

The winner (a very creative porcupine!) won a weekend stay at a W Hotel in New York. Sweet, right?

What a dream come true to have helped co-host the BAND-AID Brand for Cynthia Rowley Glambulance during Fashion’s Night Out in New York City — on Fifth Avenue!!

FNO Fashionistas got the chance to get their hair and make-up touched up by celebrity stylists and share their best or worst fashion malfunction story with us for a chance to win a $2,500 shopping spree with Cynthia Rowley herself, among many other prizes!

Cynthia made an appearancy by way of a Vespa (how much cooler could she possibly be?) and gushed to MJ how excited she was to have her name splashed across America’s favorite “malfunction” adhesive!

“It’s amazing. It really is a a dream come true!” Cynthia Rowley told MJ.

Cynthia Rowley x BAND-AIDs will be available for purchase nationwide starting this October, but FNO-goers that stopped by the Glambulance got to go home with a box before they hit the shelves!

The entire experience was so much fun for everyone involved. In case you missed it, you can watch our exclusive coverage below while eating a peanut butter and “jealous” sandwich! (Wink)
