Hundreds of the blondeshell designer’s biggest fans came out to Macy’s at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, New York on Saturday (Dec 15) for a once-in-a-lifetime meeting with her. New York City-based DJ Kalkutta helped keep the energy high in between raffles, giveaways (Betsey shoes, bags and other merchandise) and a printed picture with Betsey herself.

MicahJesse.com celebrates five years of fabulousness!

On Thursday (April 3), Micah Jesse’s favorite “celeBFFs” came out to show their support for his five years in entertainment, including lovebirds Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum (ABC’s “The Bachelor”), Angela Simmons (MTV’s “Run’s House”), Carrie Keagan (VH1′s “Big Morning Buzz Live”), Carolina Bermudez (Z-100 on-air radio personality), Drita D’Avanzo (VH1′s “Mob Wives”), Fredrik Eklund (Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York”), Jonathan Cheban (E!’s “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”), Joshua McKinley (Lifetime’s “Project Runway”), Paul Iacono (MTV’s “The Hard Times Of RJ Berger”), celebrity stylist Phillip Bloch, Rocsi Diaz (BET’s “106 & Park), and singer Melanie Fiona.

This year the MJ celebration was held at Canoe Studios in New York City — a gorgeous space that you may recognize as the backdrop from Beyonce’s ”Love On Top” music video!

Before entering the exclusive event, VIPs took HOT SHOTS on the blue carpet and shared why they love MJ!  Everyone was dressed to the nines, and Micah looked absolutely peach-perfect in his bold Moods of Norway suit and Carlo Pazolini shoes.  As they walked into the party, guests were offered delicious Malibu Red cocktails and whisked away into the main room where hot beats were mixed all night by DJ Kalkutta and DJ Kiss while guests hung out in the BoConcept VIP area, flanked by security.

When guests weren’t drinking and mingling, there was so much to do — from taking pictures at the HOT SHOT photo booth and the NIVEA USA kissing booth to enjoying endless hors d’oeuvres and cupcakes from an elaborate MJ 5 Year display, courtesy of Baked By Melissa.  And there were plenty of Tic Tacs on hand (in signature MJ colors, of course!) for those who needed to freshen up!

The celebration didn’t end there!  MJ and some of his closest pals rode off to the after-party at AVENUE, safely and in style, thanks to GM Northeast.

Happy Birthday Justin Bieber!

In honor of his 18th birthday today, I dug up some old footage from 2009 where I caught up with Justin in NYC just weeks after signing his first record deal with Usher and Island Def Jam. He was in town promoting his very first single, “One Time,” and I got a last minute call for an interview opp with the young pop star, and after being a fan for many years, writing about him on my site while he was unsigned and posting videos on YouTube, I excitedly rushed from my downtown apartment to meet up with Justin and his day-to-day manager, Ryan Good, at their midtown hotel for a quick chat.

Micah Jesse & Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson tells me she’s always considered herself “sexy.”

The one-time “American Idol” reject has since gone on to win countless awards (including a GRAMMY for Best R&B Album and an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in “Dreamgirls”), sold millions of albums, signed on to be the newest celebrity spokesperson for Weight Watchers, and most recently, become an author.

I got the chance to catch up with Jennifer on Tuesday night (Jan 10) in NYC, at a Good Housekeeping magazine event, where the sultry songstress (rocking a dress from Roland Mourat) was promoting her new book, I Got This: How I Changed My Ways and Lost What Weighed Me Down, tracing her 80-pound weight-loss journey.

With a new slim frame, I wondered — does she now consider herself “sexy?” Jennifer assured me that even as a big girl, “I always felt sexy — always — y’all just didn’t know.”

Love that!

But it isn’t her busty chest or butt or legs she loves the most. “What’s this again?” she asked her publicist, pointing to her glowing neckline. “Your clavicle?” I suggested. “Yes, I’ve always loved that.”

Editor-in-Chief of Good Housekeeping, Rosemary Ellis, hosted the event, and welcomed a surprise visit from record executive Clive Davis, who is credited with giving Jennifer her first record deal and molding her music career into what it is today — a goldmine.

Five Tips to Find Your Perfect Winter Date

Winter is the perfect time of year to really get close to someone. You can’t beat Mother Nature so you might as well join her! This is the time of year when the temperature goes down but that should have nothing to do with your love life. Here are 5 tips to keep your love life warm even when the temperature dips.

First, and most importantly, Change your attitude! That’s it. It is so easy, simple and it works! Now go for it. Go ahead. It really works. It did for me and it has for years.

Second of all, you need to Get rid of your checklist! I have never had a client come to me and ask to be matched with a fat slob who loves to sit on the couch with a bag on chips and do nothing all day! I know about your list and I know about most lists but I am asking you to get rid of it because over the past 20 years, I have been reading the same lists over and over again. He has to be tall, handsome, make a ton of money, love children, want lots of them, drive a nice car, love his mom, and let you rule his world. Bullshit and good luck! That list has nothing to do with anything. Now, if you want to find a guy to connect with and have chemistry with, then you are going to listen to my advice and open yourself up and change your attitude!

Once you have a new attitude and open mind you need to Get out there! Tis the season to mix and mingle, so go out and meet some new people– connect with people you could have never imagined yourself with. You are now going to be on the right road to finding love and not closing of any doors. What you want is to find someone that you connect with and have chemistry with. Hopefully he/she will be intelligent, open minded, worldly, thoughtful, and both of you will bring out the best in each other so you can have a healthy happy relationship that is based on realistic expectations and not the unrealistic first list above which will get you no where real fast!

This winter concentrate of finding love with realistic expectations and not closing yourself off. So keep this tip in mind on your search: Life is a journey, take some risks. It is well worth it. What do you have to lose? Don’t’ sit around and wait for someone to ring your doorbell. Go for it by changing your attitude! You will start to witness the miracle of life. Once you start thinking differently, you start to get rid of your unrealitistic expectations, your baggage, your insecurities, judgments and you learn to see the world as a different place. Your mind will benefit from this and watch how you start to choose your thoughts wisely. Your body and mind will become one and your overall presence will become more vibrant, alive, sexy, confident and you will start to attract the kind of person who is just like you!

And what do you once your find that special someone? Take advantage of opportunities to get close this time of year- whether it be romantic fires, snuggling or any outdoor activity- and keep the bond going strong.
