Join actor Ben Affleck, and other famous faces such as Sofia Bush, Josh Groban, Hunter Biden, and husband and wife Cooking Channel personalities Debi Mazar and Gabriele Corcos have committed to take the 2013 Live Below the Line challenge by living on $1.50 of food and drink for at least one day between April 29 – May 3 to raise awareness about extreme poverty. Is David Castro the next Channing Tatum?
Writer/director Guy Guido thinks so — and is launching him as such in his upcoming dance film “Lovin’ Brooklyn.” The film, which will begin production in September in New York, already has a talented crew and buzz worthy cast, making it poised to follow in the path of “Step Up” and become an instant classic.
I personally loved “Step Up” so I can’t wait for this one!
Guido has tapped Courtney Galiano (“So You Think You Can Dance,” “Stand Up Guys”) and Raquel Castro (“Jersey Girl,” “The Voice”) to appear in the film alongside Castro. World famous comedienne and entertainer Sandra Bernhard is attached to the project.
Choreographer Maria Torres (“So You Think You Can Dance,” “El Cantante”) was first introduced to the Latin Hustle in the underground dance world of 1970s Brooklyn. The dance will unite two teenagers struggling for financial independence in Bensonhurst. The romance hopes to capitalize on dance genre successes “Save the Last Dance,” “Dirty Dancing,” and “Step Up.” With dance-centered shows popping up on most major networks, America has never been more ready for “Lovin’ Brooklyn.”
This video moved me to tears… so I absolutely had to post!
Last year, out artist Ryan Amador teamed up with co-vocalist Jo Lampert (of the band Avan Lava) for his LGBTQ anthem “Define Me”. Now, we have a music video to go with the beautiful music, directed by Tom Gustafson (Were The World Mine).
So powerful, moving, chilling, inspiring, just WOW!!!!
No questions were off limits at Andy Cohen‘s book signing in Atlantic City over the weekend.
The host of “Watch What Happens Live” and author of his memoir, “Most Talkative: Stories from the Front Lines of Pop Culture,” candidly answered questions in an intimate conversation moderated by “The Real Housewives of New York” star Heather Thomson, at The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s Music Box theater.
Cohen discussed everything from his life-long love affair with celebrity and pop culture to his own love life.
The host, executive producer and Bravo’s executive vice president of original programming and development has created some of cable’s most popular hits including “The Real Housewives” and “Top Chef.”

Reality TV was “never her thing,” but when 20-year-old Canadian model Jocelyn Chew was approached by producers and saw the coaches names — Naomi Campbell, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha — you could say she was more than intrigued by “The Face.”
The show, which airs on Oxygen, is hosted by Nigel Barker, who was a previous judge on another modeling competition, America’s Next Top Model for seventeen seasons. The new series follows the three supermodels as they compete with each other to find ‘the face’ of ULTA beauty.
Jocelyn auditioned for the show, and now? She’s in the Top 11 (of 24 chosen for the show) and is proudly repping “Team Naomi,” fighting for the win.
Keep reading to check out my juicy interview with Jocelyn Chew (including modeling tips from Naomi Campbell…take notes, ladies!) and don’t forget to tune in to “The Face” on Oxygen this Tuesday, February 26th at 9/8c to follow all the action.

For the sixth year in a row, Doritos is crowdsourcing its two Super Bowl ads. Five finalists have been selected but MJ is rooting for the Doritos goat (whose name, oddly enough is Moose)!
Finalist Ben Callner (who also happens to hail from the ATL) said that his goat-owning friend (and eventual ad co-writer) Steve Colby inspired the spot. “So my buddy came in, and he literally just kind of off-handed said, ‘Hey, my goat eating and crunching on food is really funny,’” he said in a making of video. “And that was it. ‘OK, that was a really random sentence, thank you.’ And so we Googled ‘goats eating chips,’ and we cracked up.” Watch the hilarious ad now:
“They’re so sweet,” Colby told Fox Atlanta. ”I really got goats because I thought that they wouldn’t be affectionate, I just kind of wanted some animals. But they want to be right next to you … they’re wonderful.”
“Goats 4 Sale” is up against 4 other consumer created ads: two starring dogs, one starring men in dresses, and another that has a blind man hitting another fellow in the groin. Doritos execs will select one winner and the other will be selected by online votes. Thus far, “Goats 4 Sale” has the most views on the Doritos Crash the Superbowl site (currently 460,000).
