Talk show host David Letterman apologized to his wife while taping his late-night show Monday, an audience member told RadarOnline.com.
Audience member Tracy Frye, of Dallas, Texas told Radar:
“David apologized to his wife and his colleagues at Worldwide Pants. He said he didn’t really think through what he said on-air last week and how it would affect his co-workers.” He also apologized because he now realized that people would speculate he was involved with women on the show with whom he had no sexual relationship.
According to Frye, “He made a direct apology to his wife and said: ‘I have a lot of work to do’. “I think he was being sincere.”
