On why he needed a new “bro”:
You can never have too many friends. I have a very core group of friends that I trust, and I just thought this show was a hilarious idea. Some people don’t get it and some people do. I love the title [of 'Bromance.] It almost crosses the line with the whole gay thing. There is nothing gay about [bromance.] If anything, it makes you more masculine. This show is a hilarious idea, and no one [in reality television] has dealt with male friendship. What it takes to have a true bromance. You’re willing to share everything.
PAPERMAG: So, a blonde a brunette and a redhead walk into a bar…
BJ: Walk straight up to them and be like, ‘what up?” I haven’t really ever found myself attracted to complete redheads. I’ve been a blonde or a brunette guy. Now I have a beautiful girlfriend I love so it wouldn’t matter. But you know what I did hear? I heard that redheads have the most sex. I heard that on the news this morning. It kind of made me think
Is he kidding?
“What up?”
That will totally make a girl swoon…not! However, the former Hills hottie has just that going for him- he’s a cutie patootie! Too bad he’s taken.
