On Wednesday evening (May 12), scorching hot actor Antonio Banderas launched his seventh fragrance, “Secret,” at Instituto Cervantes in NYC.
It was a media frenzy, but the almost 50-year-old talked to everyone…despite not eating a thing…all day! (Poor guy!)
When MJ asked Antonio to tell him a secret, he said, “I can’t. If I tell you the secret, I’m going to blow it!”
Not the answer we wanted… so we pried a little more… and asked him to tell us what a megastar like him does in his free time…
Antonio responded candidly, saying, “I’m not exciting at all. I do something called Sofa Therapy [laughs]. I just lay down and watch the television and all the people who work.”
But that got the actor thinking… and we got the money answer!
“What is interesting about the concept of ‘Secret’ and the name of the fragrance, is that everybody has secrets. It doesn’t matter how close you are to the person you’re intimate with, you always will have something that someone doesn’t know that you hold the key to. Everyone wants to see the secrets of someone else!” he said.
Does Antonio’s actress wife, Melanie Griffith, wear any of his fragrances? Yes!
“Sometimes she wears the men’s! She loves the Mediterranean, the Diavolo, and also one called… Antonio!”
Genius!
MJ copped a bottle of his newest scent and it smells… utterly sexual!
Might have to pour it on instead of schpritz…
