What a day for fashion in New York City. Since we posted the invitation (below) to the Christian Louboutin sample sale, tons of people have e-mailed Micah asking for him to lend his support. Unfortunately, we can’t help.
But one lucky MicahJesse.com reader who was turned down by e-mails was able to sneak into the sample sale of all sample sales and gave us the EXCLUSIVE.
When our tipster tried to RSVP she got the following e-mail:
Hello,
We can’t seem to find you in our list. In order to add you, we will
need to confirm if any member of our crew has invited you, otherwise
we won’t be able to add you since it is a private event.

Sorry staff! You let ‘er in anyways! Here are our exclusive tipsters notes from the event:
- Max 50 people in line
- Our tipster arrived at 7:30 AM
- Doors open at 9:00 AM
- You need to directly know someone at the store, and each store person has own list
- Store person name is Monica (from Madrid)
- Once your name is checked off you go up in the “Private CL Elevator” that only fits about 10 people to the 14th floor
- When you get off elevator you must check your bag (no shoplifting!)
- The shoe room is a small room with shoes stocked in shoe size order
- Louboutin flats were $150
- All good shoes were in sizes 40 and 41
- Our tipster got a pair of $250 shoes that are apparently Christian Louboutin’s favorite
- A lot of bridal shoes (white)
- Joy and Monica are the “list holders”
