The stars gathered on Wednesday (Feb 3) at the American Museum of Natural History for the Hublot and African Wildlife Foundation Auction Dinner and MicahJesse.com got to speak to some of the celebs exclusively.
Russell Simmons, accompanied by Miss Universe Tanzania, Flaviana Matata in Versace, was excited to be participating in such a great cause. Simmons told MicahJesse.com that his financial service company, UniRush is buying a bank to help those with less access, noting “a lot of times the poor pay more.”
What a stand up guy!
Model Veronika Varekova, who looked stunning in Roland Mouret and a Hublot watch, has recently become an ambassador for the foundation and was eager to share her involvement. She told us that she had just returned from Africa where she fell in love with the mountain gorillas and is very passionate about preserving their homes.
The moderator for the evening’s auction was model Molly Sims who shined in Diane Von Furstenberg and gorgeous bangles from her own collection, Grayce by Molly Sims. She shared with MicahJesse.com that she’s planning to go back to TV, which she seemed very excited about, saying “It’s the first time I’m doing it since Vegas so that will be good.”
Other celebrity attendees included Chelsea Clinton, billionaire Greek oil heir Stavros Niarchos, and New York’s very own Governor David Paterson.
