Michael Musto is a notable face in the Manahattan social circuit!

For those of you who are unaware, Musto is not only the guy who coined the term “celebutard” (combination of the words ‘celebrity’, ‘debutante’, and ‘retard’ used to describe girls like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan) but he is a man-about-town who sits front row at Fashion Week and has unlimited access to all the hottest events around town.
But why, you ask?
The 53-year-old Columbia graduate is the mastermind behind the widely read NYC paper The Village Voice, running his own column dubbed “La Dolce Musto.”

Michael even said so himself! He once said, “I’m a critic, but I do it with humor, and I’m above all self-deprecating. I make fun of myself before anybody, so that kind of frees me to lash out at other people. I’m also out about everything. I’ve written columns about my promiscuity phases, and my seizure disorder…everything! There’s nothing I hold back from my readers and that allows me to go forth without hypocrisy into all kinds of subjects about public figures.”
