Last night was magical!

We rang in 2009 in style at the Gansevoort South hotel party hosted by actress Chloe Sevigny, with music by DJ Cassidy and Jus Ske, and a performance by Grammy award winner T.I.

Chloe and Micah had a pre-New Years photo opp before she took the stage to ring in 2009:

Gorgeous people filled the rooftop and poolside areas with festive 2009 memorabilia.

We hung behind the DJ booth with our good friend DJ Cassidy (pictured top) and Jus Ske (pictured bottom) for part of the night:

The night wasn’t perfect, however, T.I.’s poolside performance was cut short when a speaker blew. This angered the rap star and his “people” thus causing a brawl on stage mid-song. T.I. was on his best behavior, though, standing back away from the turmoil. The event coordinator, New York City club owner Mike Satsky, wasn’t pleased either.

The performance was moved to an auditorium in the hotel, and although it wasn’t ideal, T.I. performed an amazing 7 song set for a select, significantly smaller, group of partygoers.

During his performance, he “made it rain” with stacks of $1 bills and our good friend from America’s Next Top Model, Jaslene Gonzalez, shared in our excitement!

We also ran into Dancing With The Stars contestant Warren Sapp:

After the show, Micah Jesse was escorted by security to the backstage hallway where he met T.I. briefly. Check it out!
