Both Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston are set to make triumphant returns to the stage at this year’s star-packed American Music Awards!
Houston will perform her song “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” while we are anxiously awaiting news of what Jackson will perform for her special opening number.
“We’re thrilled about having Janet Jackson open this year’s show,” said American Music Awards producer Larry Klein in a news release. “She is an incredibly dynamic performer, and I think the audience will be excited to see what she has in store.”
Rihanna, Green Day, Shakira, Mary J. Blige, Keith Urban, Lady Gaga, Eminem, Alicia Keys and Jay-Z, Jennifer Lopez, the Black Eyed Peas, and American Idol alums Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry and Adam Lambert are also due to perform at the 37th Annual American Music Awards airing Sunday (Nov 22) on ABC!
