On Sunday, a few hours after we got off our flight from New York City, we headed over to celebrity hotspot eatery The Ivy on Robertson Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, to meet YouTube singing sensation and up-and-coming album chart topper Jessica Sanchez. Her lovely family joined us for lunch (her uncle, mother and grandmother whom we absolutely adore!)
To see incredible videos of Jessica singing, check out her YouTube channel.
After lunch we took a little video together outside Ken Paves Salon where many Hollywood stars such as Jessica Simpson and Eva Longoria get their locks done.
Take a look:
We had a blast. Lunch was delicious!
Afterwards, we walked around Robertson Boulevard and popped into some very chic stores such as Chanel, Lisa Kline, Kitson, and Jessica even did a mini-photoshoot in the adorable kids store Kira Plastina.
We also stopped in to MAC Cosmetics:
Before parting ways, we totally had to GLAM IT UP in front of The Ivy.
Dear Jessica (and fam!),
We had such an amazing time with you. Also, thank you so much for my birthday gift – it was a gift enough to meet you and spend time with you. Looking forward to spending more time together before we head all the way back to the East Coast.
xoxo

Micah you were on Making the Band last nite! we saw you dancing and rubbing hands w/ Aubrey!!
Looks like you had a great time. I think shes a great singer, but like I have said before….Not a star…..Totally blew the market of being a kid with her too sexy way of putting herself out there. Not exactly right for a 13 year old (in my opinion) Her look is just so so, not really marketable enough to sell products. So….She can really only capture the music audience, and where is the money in that anymore? You have to be able to do it all. And while the girl can sing (for sure) You can’t really market her look (In my opinion)
Mike, thank you for your ‘opinion’. Unfortunately, I think you’re incredibly wrong about Jessica. I used to work for music mogul Tommy Mottola and am still very connected in the music industry (have friends like DJ Cassidy, the girls from Danity Kane, Ryan Leslie, Cassie, etc.) I see all that goes into turning them into stars.
Do me a favor and Google pictures of celebrities before they were styled, managed, touseled and teased. What you will find is ‘normal’ looking girls and boys.
Jessica’s gift – her voice – will sell itself. Once she has a power team behind her (manager, producer, stylist, make-up artist, etc etc etc), she will blow the diva’s out of the water. Again, thank you for the comments, but all I can end with is – just you wait and see!

You tell em Micah!!! Mike. that was mean saying she she doesnt have to look to be a singer!! She isnt trying to break into the modelling industry, its the music industry to be a singer,, So what if she doesnt look like a barbie.. its the voice what matters and she has ALOT of fans on youtube and her fan base grows bigger and bigger every day!

Hey Micah!!
I recently discovered Jessica’s wonderful talent a few days ago. I made some calls to a few friends at Disney and also Warner Bros. They are both possibly interested. I would like to work with her to get her developed and where she should be (package wise)
The songs she has on her (what sounds to me like a demo) are good, but I see her doing much better work then that. We have a group of producers ready to work with her on some real R&B and soul…I havent been able to find out too much about her management and development situation, but should you be able to contact her or her parents could you please give them my email address, or if you could contact me via email and I can send a phone number thru you that would be great… She is too great of a talent for me not to try, and she is definitely too good to wait to try out for Idol. I appreciate your time,
Lisa
