So we met our girlies from Danity Kane at Live R&B at Spotlight Live to see Estelle perform:
D. Woods (of Danity Kane), your fave blogger, Teyanna Taylor, and the lovely Aubrey O’Day.
Aubrey really is lovely, despite what Pigez calls her!
Do you looooove our outfit?
After the concert, Aubrey, myself and clothing designer/publicist Matt Levine headed to members-only hotspot Norwood, where we walked around the four-story brownstone mingling. At the top floor, we headed into a private screening room where music mogul Damon Dash was watching an advanced screening of his upcoming documentary about women who are underground fighters.
Totally cool to be in the same room as him! There were less than 10 of us in the room total.
Then, we headed to Meatpacking District hotspot Tenjune where Aubrey and I entered hand-in-hand. We headed straight to the VIP section in the back where DJ Berrie was spinning the tunes.
We also spotted Irv Gotti manning a table with a few friends a few tables down from us.
We didn’t stay long though as we had an early morning ahead of us — we dropped Aubrey off in a cab on the way home, as she also had an early morning filming. On the way to her apartment, though, Aubrey really let down her guard and showed us the true Aubrey O’ Day – the Aubrey behind the glitz and the glamour – a down-to-earth girl that does her own make-up, buys her own outfits for social events, and is focusing her career outside of Danity Kane on not one – but TWO – charities that she is actively involved in.
We chatted about our little ‘ole blog, MICAHJESSE.COM, which Aubrey was very inquisitive of — asking how many hits a month we get (we’re up to about 30,000 of you guys checking us out a month! Sweet!!!!) and we brainstormed about some future ideas….
We will totally keep you posted on that.

Thank you so much for focusing on the real aubrey and not what some bloggers make her out to be. I had the opportunity to meet her in 06 and she is an extremely sweet girl, very educated and funny.
