The amazing Eva Longoria is now putting her efforts and shine in a different direction- politics!

Longoria and Musician Jerry Jeff Walker are coming together to host a big benefit in order to raise money for the re-election of President Barack Obama. The concert will take place on July 17th, somewhere in Texas. Longoria and Walker are not the only celebrities using their stardom to draw attention to Obama. They follow in the footsteps on Anna Wintour, Sarah Jessica Parker, and George Clooney!

So tell MJ, who do you think will be the next celeb to endorse the re-election? Tweet @MicahJesse!

Sarah Jessica Parker & Anna Wintour Team Up To Host Dinner Party For Mr. President!

JoinObama.com

Who doesn’t want to go to a party with President Barack Obama, Sarah Jessica Parker, Anna Wintour and more?

This Tuesday, Miss Wintour (editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine) and Sarah Jessica Parker will be hosting a $40,000 per-plate fundraiser in NYC.

The food better be deeeeeeeelish! (Kidding)

This fundraiser, which SJP began promoting at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, will help support the re-election of our president, Barack Obama.

Let’s hope she can top George Clooney‘s fundraiser last month that pulled in about 15 million dollars!

SAG Awards Fashion: Micah Jesse’s Top 5 Best Dressed Picks!

Award shows are a great place to check out (and critique) celebrity fashion — and of course there are people who do it right and who do it wrong — but we’re picking out Top 5 FAVORITES from the 2012 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards red carpet! Here we go…

PHOTOS: Orchon/Retna Digital

Daring actress Rose Byrne (“Bridesmades”) slipped into a sparkly white jumpsuit from Elie Saab’s Fall 2009 couture collection. The onesie featured little cap sleeves, a plunging neckline and wide-legged pants. She paired the jumpsuit with a sleek bob, which hairdresser Harry Josh described as ”’70s inspired Michelle Pfeiffer from Scarface meets Anna Wintour’s bob.” A-ma-zing!

“Best Actress” winner Viola Davis (“The Help”) literally shined on the red carpet in a white strapless silk chiffon Marchesa gown with a gold beaded bodice, paired with Jimmy Choo shoes. The night was handed to her! Well deserved! (Watch Giuliana Rancic interview Viola Davis on the red carpet!)

E! News host Giuliana Rancic looked “ravishing in red” on the carpet in an embellished Basil Soda floor-length gown, before she took her position on the red carpet.

Nominee Emma Stone (The Help) wore with a custom Alexander McQueen dress, pairing it with Tiffany & Co. Luce Diamond Earrings by Paloma Picasso and finished off the look with four incredible Jean Schlumberger rings on her right hand.

Vivacious and voluptuous “Modern Family” actress Sofia Vergara dazzled in a fuchsia fishtail dress from Marchesa and paired it with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. (Watch Giuliana Rancic interview Sofia Vergara on the red carpet!)

FNO Fashionistas got the chance to get their hair and make-up touched up by celebrity stylists and share their best or worst fashion malfunction story with us for a chance to win a $2,500 shopping spree with Cynthia Rowley herself, among many other prizes!

Cynthia made an appearancy by way of a Vespa (how much cooler could she possibly be?) and gushed to MJ how excited she was to have her name splashed across America’s favorite “malfunction” adhesive!

“It’s amazing. It really is a a dream come true!” Cynthia Rowley told MJ.

Cynthia Rowley x BAND-AIDs will be available for purchase nationwide starting this October, but FNO-goers that stopped by the Glambulance got to go home with a box before they hit the shelves!

The entire experience was so much fun for everyone involved. In case you missed it, you can watch our exclusive coverage below while eating a peanut butter and “jealous” sandwich! (Wink)

MJ Fave: The 2011 U.S. Open In New York City!

Hi Sweet Peaches!

I’m back with a new MJ Fave – and this time you may (or may not) be surprised that I have a newfound affection for the U.S. Open.

Earlier this week, a messenger dropped by Micah Jesse Headquarters with a coveted ticket to the annual tennis tourny. If that wasn’t exciting enough, it came with an invitation to be a VIP Guest of Moët & Chandon in their swanky suite. (Eeeeek!)

Well, as a first-timer to the U.S. Open, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I figured I’d probably see Vogue editrix Anna Wintour mean-muggin’ on the jumbotron (which she was) and possibly spot a few other celebs if I squinted real hard…

But, boy, was I wrong!

Those two smiley dudes in the photo up there represent two third’s of the GRAMMY Award-winning group Lady Antebellum (Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood) and they were also VIP Guests of Moët. Hillary Scott, the missing third, was not at the game, but filling in was Charles’ gorgeous wife, Cassie. If you’re a Lady Antebellum fan — let me tell you — these guys are a class act. Seriously the nicest, most down-to-earth “famous people” I’ve ever met… I can’t tell you how much I love that! The longtime friends and bandmates were in town to catch a glimpse of tennis pros Roger Federer and Serena Williams tear down the house. (Both won, surprise surprise!)

Oh — and that’s not all. Actor Chris McDonald of “Happy Gilmore” fame was in the suite as well. Another truly stand-up guy. He chatted me up, asking about my little website and how it got started, and he filled me in on his NBC show, “Harry’s Law,” co-starring actress Kathy Bates, whom he swears is just as funny in person.

What a day, y’all. Thank you for everything Moët & Chandon. What an unbeatable first experience at the U.S. Open!

After the jump, watch Lady Antebellum’s music video for “Need You Now!”

15th Annual Webby Awards: “Internet’s Highest Honor”

PHOTO: Courtesy of Webby Awards

The 15th Annual Webby Awards proved to be a big night for the Internet!

The exclusive event, held on Monday night (Jun 13) at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC, and hosted by Lisa Kudrow, and brought out big-named attendees including Anna Wintour, Daniel Radcliffe, Adrian Grenier, John Mayer, Will Ferrell (via a special surprise video speech), Brooke Shields, Lisa Lampanelli, Marlon Wayans, Norah Jones, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, YouTube celebrity Antoine DodsonDamian Kulash of OK Go, Darrell Hammond, and many others.

One of the highlights of the evening came in the form of a speech given by Dan Savage of the It Gets Better Project, who said “Tracy Morgan can suck my…” in response to the comedian’s recent controversial remarks.

In a lighter speech, Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour said, “Sometimes geek can be chic,” clearly addressing her audience.

The star-studded event honored the hard work and innovation of those who work to develop websites, interactive advertising & media, online film & video, and mobile & apps! Congratulations to all who won Webby Awards!

Halloween + New Years = Fashion’s Night Out 2010

To say that Fashion’s Night Out took over New York City on Friday night (Sept 10) would be the understatement of the year!

Despite crazy traffic all over town, Micah Jesse and crew “popped” all around in the Popchips Mobile, hitting Macy’s Herald Square for an interview with Joss Stone, an impromptu performance of “Livin’ On A Prayer” by American Idol Jordin Sparks at Kiehl’s, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and power publicist Lizzie Grubman holding fort for her newest client, Shopafrolic, at Barneys.

Oh, you thought that was it? No, no… part two:

We then “popped” over to the Meatpacking District, visiting DJ Cassidy at Tory Burch, Christina Ricci at Jeffrey, and the always fabulous Diane Von Furstenberg with the woman responsible for Fashion’s Night Out, editor-in-chief of Vogue Magazine, Anna Wintour.

But that’s still not all!

In the MPD, we also spotted Wyclef Jean, actor Neil Patrick Harris, designer Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons (not together) and gimmicky branding opportunities from companies like Barbie (a mobile “Catch Me If You Ken” bus with 6 male models posing as Ken), a Maybelline pop-up beauty shop, karaoke tents, live performances in the streets, and so so so much more!

Sounds like fun? It was!

MJ wrapped up an intense evening hosting a table at Legendary Damon‘s party at the Cabana’s at The Maritime Hotel, hanging with friends Estelle, Dawn Richard and boyfriend Que of Day 26, and even spotted the one-and-only Queen Latifah.

As Frankie Valli would say, “Oh whatttttta night!”
