Looking for your new favorite television show? You’re in luck!
On Monday (March 21) TV Land announced that the network is moving forward with three sitcoms – two new series and a renewal for “Retired at 35.” These sitcoms will join the successful sitcom starring Betty White “Hot in Cleveleand,” which is now up to a 24 episode order for season three.
The first of TV Land’s newest shows marks the television return of “The Nanny’s” Fran Drescher, who will star alongside John Michael Higgins (“Best in Show”), Tichina Arnold (“Everybody Hates Chris”) and Rita Moreno (“West Side Story”) in “Happily Divorced.”
Following Drescher’s new sitcom is “The Exes” (working title) starring Donald Faison (“Scrubs”) , Wayne Knight (“Seinfeld,” “Hot in Cleveland”), David Alan Basche (“Law and Order,” “The Starter Wife”) and Kristen Johnston (“3rd Rock from the Sun”). The sitcom is anticipated to premiere on June 15.
Additionally, TV Land has renewed its hit sitcom “Retired at 35” starring George Segal, Jessica Walter and Johnathan McClain for a second season, which is scheduled to premiere along with “The Exes” in winter.
So far “Happily Divorced,” “The Exes,” and “Retired at 35” have all been picked up for 10 episodes each.

I was in seventh grade and it was career day and I remember thinking that I wanted to be an entertainment lawyer. I always knew I would be in this business somehow. I think this path worked out way better.

Proving that age is no handicap, 89-year-old Betty White won big at last night’s 17th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards Show in Los Angeles.
Beating out the likes of Tina Fey and Jane Lynch, everyone’s favorite “Golden Girl” won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her role in TV Land’s critically-acclaimed hit “Hot in Cleveland.” In the show, Betty plays the part of a sassy, opinionated residential caretaker to perfection.
“This [is] the biggest surprise I’ve ever had in this business,” White told the audience who rose to their feet in her honor. Betty jokingly said in her speech, “You didn’t applaud when I turned 40!”
We think Betty’s win is a positive step towards eliminating ageism in Hollywood. She proves that there is a place for older actresses among all the young, fresh faces.
Just one year shy of 90, Betty White continues to be an inspiration to all. Do you think Betty’s win will leave the spotlight on more mature actresses?
Betty White is the little engine that could!
The queen of last year’s Super Bowl advertising kicked off the recruiting for this year’s contestants in the Doritos and Pepsi MAX “Crash The Super Bowl” contest. Now in its fifth year, the contest will offer six 30-second Super Bowl ad spots for consumer-created commercials.
An ad contract and a $5 million payout is on the line for the ad that sweeps the top three rankings of the USA TODAY Ad Meter.
Insane!
With Betty White’s name attached, we’re sure this will be a hoot hit.
And on top of all of Betty’s other duties, she also lent her charming personality for a hilarious HoodieBuddie.com commercial:

It may just be part of growing up in the spotlight, but 16-year-old actor Mark Indelicato went from ugly to hot really freakin’ quick!
From “Ugly Betty” to “Hot In Cleveland,” that is!
Indelicato‘s newest role is an obsessed fan of Victoria Chase (Wendy Malick), and he is currently shooting in Los Angeles with 2010 comedic fameball superstar, Betty White.

On his official blog, he wrote, “Just started work on Hot In Cleveland which I will be guest starring on! Everyone has been so great so far, and Betty White is a true genius…as I already suspected and knew.” He added, “This is only my second time working in front of a live audience (the first was The Suite Life hahahaha) so that’s going to be a new experience for me! It’s kind of like working live theatre but with cameras involved.”
Sounds like fun! MJ can’t wait to see Marky in his “hot” new role!
