To know Clive Davis is to love him. And most of America’s top selling artists have worked very closely with him, including the late Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Britney Spears, Tony Bennett, Alicia Keys, Usher and many more!

The legendary music man was celebrated this week at an event at L.A. hot spot The Redbury, where Billboard revealed their 2013 Power 100 List at an exclusive event, presented by Citi®, with leading music industry professionals.

The evening culminated with Clive Davis being honored with the Billboard Musical Visionary Award for his A&R work. The award will be renamed to Billboard’s Clive Davis Musical Visionary Award for future recipients.

This weekend, at the annual GRAMMY Awards, Clive will hold his annual party and will honor the life of Whitney Houston. After the jump, the Power 100 list and video of Clive and R&B artist Miguel talking about about Whitney.

He’s sexy, he’s smart (…went to Harvard!) and he makes music that will make you get on your feet and dance. Meet BAKER. The hottest new face in the world of Electro Pop music. Micah Jesse caught up with Baker:

Describe to me when you first knew you wanted to make music. What was it about making music and/or performing that attracted you?
When I was 8 years old at summer camp, it was my counselor’s idea for all of us to perform “Stand By Me” for the other groups. I remember the counselor loved my voice so much she put the microphone right in front of me, so even though everyone was singing, the crowd could only hear me. And I think on the surface, I enjoyed the attention (I still do) but really it was more about communication. If someone has a voice of their own – whether that means singing or public speaking or writing, they should develop it and share it.

- …to the “electro pop” genre specifically?

That’s the style that fit my writing and my voice the best; it was a pretty clear choice right from the start.

Who do you make music for? Who is your target audience?

I don’t have one; I’ve been amazed by how many different people of all ages and places and walks of life that have discovered my music, so I hope it only continues to expand.

Demi Lovato's New Pink Hair

Demi Lovato debuted another new hair-do this weekend when she showed off her bright pink-tipped ponytail at the X Factor San Francisco auditions!

But what would tough critic and fellow judge Simon Cowell think of her new locks?

The singer tweeted backstage at the auditions: “Yay!! Simon approves of my pink hair!! #SFactor,” along with a picture of her, Cowell and Britney Spears.

Lovato is one of many stars who have rocked the pink locks lately, including Nicole Richie, January Jones, and Ashley Tisdale.

A new poll from Billboard.com has crowned an unlikeley pair as the Sexiest Man and Women in Music. Despite the combination, there is no doubt that Billboard voter’s choice of the current X Factor Judge, Britney Spears, and American Idol star, Adam Lambert was a good one. It’s hard to disagree that Adam and Britney are sexy!

In the poll that brought in over 600,000 votes, Spears earned 45% of the vote for sexiest female, followed by Lady Gaga with 12% of the vote and Beyonce in 3rd with 8% of the vote. Adam Lambert took 26% of the votes for sexiest male, beating out Maroon 5′s Adam Levine into second place with 12%, while Justin Bieber placed third with 10%.

Singer Britney Spears and High School Musical alum Ashley Tisdale were both spotted wearing this Brian Lichtenberg coral scuba dress. Spears was seen in the dress while  filming The X Factor on May 24, and Tisdale wore it to the opening of Mizumi Restaurant in Las Vegas on Thursday. Although they share similar hair styles, the blonde bombshells paired the dress with very different accessories . Spears choose classic black pumps while Tisdale went with nude pumps and a handbag.

Demi Lovato has had a whirlwind year!

The pop singer, who famously went to rehab earlier this year, appears happy and vibrant in a bright yellow cut-out dress on the cover of the July issue of Cosmopolitan magazine (hits newsstands Tuesday, June 5^th!)

The 19-year-old pop singer, who recently announced she would be joining “The X-Factor” as a judge (joining Britney Spears, Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid) talked to the mag about her painful past and amazing recovery.

On being diagnosed with bipolar disorder: “I felt relieved when I found out. Like I’m not completely crazy; there’s a medical reason for all of it.” She continues: “It’s a daily thing; you don’t get time off from it. And if I feel myself slipping back into old patterns, I have to ask others for help, which is hard for me to learn, because I really like doing everything on my own.”

On the direction she’d like her personal life to go in: “I want to be married with kids in 10 years.”

On her dating qualifications: “I don’t have many deal breakers. I’ve done so much in my life, it doesn’t feel right to judge other people. Oh, I know one quality I won’t tolerate. I would never be with a guy who is controlling.”
