Y’all know MJ loves Jessie J … so it probably comes as no shock that we’re totally in love with her new song with dance music genius David Guetta.

Jessie‘s last single ‘Domino’ became her second UK No. 1 in January, and ‘Laserlight’ will be the seventh hit to be lifted from her strong-selling debut album Who You Are.`

Speaking of “who you are,” some of her fans (or “HeartBeats” as Jessie calls them) weren’t too pleased with the video… One fan tweeted her saying: “Not going to lie @jessiejofficial I dont really like the laserlight vid, I can speak for a lot of heartbeats we don’t really think its “you.”

Jessie replied: “And what’s ‘me’?”

She was then forced to defend herself after fans were upset by her response. She took to Twitter to say: “I was asking genuinely. Why is everything made into a HUGE thing. I respect everyones opinion but I will always do what I love. Doesn’t mean everyone is going to like it. Life isn’t like that. But I am me. Always me. :)”

Stay true to “who you are,” Jessie, we love that about you!

Missed the iHeartRadio Music Festival over the weekend?

MJ was in the house and on the red carpet backstage at the MGM Resort and “peach picked” these five photos until our video footage is ready for your viewing pleasure.

The music fest, which was dubbed “the biggest live music event in radio,” was hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and brought out some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Steven Tyler, The Black Eyed Peas, Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Sting, Carrie Underwood, Jane’s Addiction, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Bruno Mars, Kelly Clarkson, Sublime with Rome and Jeff Beck.

The iHeartRadio Music Festival weekend was filled with exclusive performances from a star-infused lineup, with many special guest attendees and presenters including Emmy and Grammy Award winning superstar Justin Timberlake (who introduced Lady Gaga); Twilight’s Ashley Greene; Jersey Shore’s DJ Pauly D; “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson and others.
