After a headline-capturing divorce, “Gossip Girl” star Kelly Rutherford and her ex-husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch, who was deported one year ago, were granted joint custody of their children, 6-year-old Hermes and 3-year-old Helena. But because Kelly’s ex can’t return to the United States, the judge ruled that the children would be sent to live in France with their father— away from their mother, their friends and the home they’ve known since birth.

Caroline Fina, a friend of Kelly’s, just launched a petition on Change.org to help bring her friends’ kids home to the US after the family was torn apart by what some have called “one of the worst custody decisions ever.”

Says Caroline: “I want you to know that Kelly is not your average mother. She is the mom who sews the Spiderman mask back together when it rips, the mom who has lollipops in her purse at all times just in case she comes across a child crying, at school, at the airport, anywhere. She is the mom who will eat the crazy-looking birthday cake her kids made for her, just because it’s made of love. Kelly is a caring and generous friend, and most importantly, a truly exceptional mother. To see her now, separated from Hermes and Helena, enduring the worst possible agony a mother can experience, pushes me to reach out for help.”

Is there anything Blake Lively can’t do?!

The actress has been named the new face of Gucci‘s latest fragrance, “Premiére!” Lively has taken her fashion expertise from the sets of Gossip Girl and plunged them into the world of glam and style!

Blake is thrilled to be a part of the fragrance’s upcoming campaign, stating that, ”It is a pleasure to collaborate with Frida Giannini. I admire the qualities of the Gucci Première woman and feel honored to represent the fragrance.”

Lively embodies Hollywood glamour as she’s seen in the commercial dressed in a body-hugging sparkly gold gown! Gorgeous!

Like mother like daughter!

Back in February, Blake Lively attended Godiva’s “The Sweetest Story Ever Told Sweepstakes” event wearing separate pieces from Valentino and shoes by Christian Louboutin.

Last night (May 14), her mother on their hit TV show “Gossip Girl,” Kelly Rutherford wore a similar version of the same Valentino dress at Birchbox’s live viewing of the Gossip Girl finale at the Time Warner Center, paring it with a small clutch and nude pumps.

The question is… Who rocked it better?

Talk show hosts Kelly Ripa (“Live with Kelly!”) and Anderson Cooper (“Anderson”) were all smiles at the New York screening of “BULLY,” which the dynamic duo co-hosted, at The Crosby Street Hotel. Also in the house (er, hotel): Kelly’s hot hubs Mark Consuelos, ”Gossip Girl” star Michelle Trachtenberg, designer Rachel Roy and TV personalities Rocsi Diaz, Carson Kressley.

“BULLY” is a Weinstein Company documentary that follows a group of harassed high school students who face bullying on a daily basis. It covers events during the 2009-2010 school year and follows students from Texas, Mississippi, Georgia, Iowa and Oklahoma, including the stories of Tyler Long and Ty Smalley, who committed suicide as a result of bullying.

“BULLY” hits select theaters this Friday!

Stars like Kelly Osbourne, Kate Mara, Shay Mitchell, Erin Andrews, Joan Rivers,Alexandra Chando, Kelly Bensimon and Coco Rocha all attended the Badgley Mischka Fall 2012 Runway Show for Mercedes Benz Fashion Week! The event took place at the Theater at Lincoln Center and what an event it was!

Stacey Bendet, Kristin Chenoweth, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Kevin Jonas, Danielle Jonas, Krysten Ritter, Ahna O’Rielly, Megan Hilty, Kelly Rutherford, Angela Simmons, Kelly Bensimon and Erin Andrews were spotted at the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet presentation with music by Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. It was held at Center 548 in the Big Apple and was a big deal!

The Empire Hotel has been home to fashionista Whitney Port while last minute prepping for her Whitney Eve show tomorrow. She was spotted in the hotel lobby and seemed extremely friendly as she stopped to take photos with fans!

Kris Humphries showed up to Stone Rose Lounge for the tail end of the Betsey Johnson Fall 2012 After-Party last night. He arrived with four guy friends, still wearing his coat and scarf inside the Time Warner Center. Betsey Johnson took the mic and gave a shout out to guests Kris and Richie Rich before making fun of herself for the “less than great cartwheel,” she attempted on stage at her show.

EXTRA’s beautiful Maria Menounos stopped by lia Sophia this week as did many other famous faces including Adrienne Bailon, Carrie Keagan, Brad Goreski, Miss J Alexander, Jenna Bush and Louise Roe. With MBFW bringing out the most fashionable stars, Lia Sophia seemed to be a stop on everyone’s list!

Bar Refaeli and Stacy Keibler (girlfriend of actor George Clooney) were both spotted at the Marchesa Fall 2012 Fashion Show checking out some hot new styles. The two sat next to one another which, may have drawn more attention then the presentation!

Katie Holmes was spotted at Urth Café in West Hollywood grabbing some morning treats. She looked adorbable as usual as she made her way past the paparazzi.
