All sorts of celebrities flocked to Churchill Downs to celebrate the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby, where Orb took the win.
Lance Bass, Lauren Conrad, Jason Biggs, Tiki Barber, Scottie Pippin, Kid Rock, Krysten Ritter, Joey Fatone, Miranda Lambert, Star Jones, Jason Biggs, Jenny Mollen, Christian Siriano, Carson Kressley, Jai Rodriguez and supermodel Coco Rocha were among the stars who walked the red carpet and signed a 6-liter bottle of Moet & Chandon Imperial for the brand’s ‘Sign for the Roses’ philanthropic initiative, which raises money for the Churchill Downs foundation.
Though it was pouring down rain, the celebrity attendees stayed dry on the tent covered red carpet, which provided shelter from storm.
Jennifer Hudson and Tom Brady were spotted in Millionaire’s Row but neither decided to walk the red carpet.
After the jump, celebrities sound off on their Kentucky Derby first experiences and fashion!

To know Clive Davis is to love him. And most of America’s top selling artists have worked very closely with him, including the late Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, Britney Spears, Tony Bennett, Alicia Keys, Usher and many more!
The legendary music man was celebrated this week at an event at L.A. hot spot The Redbury, where Billboard revealed their 2013 Power 100 List at an exclusive event, presented by Citi®, with leading music industry professionals.
The evening culminated with Clive Davis being honored with the Billboard Musical Visionary Award for his A&R work. The award will be renamed to Billboard’s Clive Davis Musical Visionary Award for future recipients.
This weekend, at the annual GRAMMY Awards, Clive will hold his annual party and will honor the life of Whitney Houston. After the jump, the Power 100 list and video of Clive and R&B artist Miguel talking about about Whitney.
American Idol alum Jennifer Hudson has announced that on September 10 she will add one more thing to her already fabulous resume and introduce the Jennifer Hudson Collection for QVC!
Hudson, who is a spokesperson for Weight Watchers, recently lost 80 pounds and wants to make sure her clothing line is for women of every size as well as affordable.
She told WWD: “I feel like I represent every woman. I’ve been on both sides of the fence…I’ve been a big girl and now whatever this is, the average size, whatever you want to call it. But I wanted the clothes to be where any girl could wear it – no matter what size you are – and you could feel comfortable in it.”
The collection will include 14 pieces designed for QVC, including leggings and coats like the one pictured here, and is inspired by her own style.
While MicahJesse.com was celebrating five fabulous years last night, our favorite Youtube star-turned-”American Idol” contestant Jessica Sanchez had some celebrating to do herself — she’s made it to the Top 4 on American Idol!
Jessica’s mind-blowing talent has caught the attention of many famous artists who want to collaborate with her. In fact, R&B singer Akon wants the powerhouse to be voted off the show so that he can sign her to his own record label!
“She’s beyond the talent that’s supposed to be there. I think she’s overqualified, I really do. And she’s only 16. Like, I’ve been around a lot of superstars. I haven’t seen anyone at that age sing like that,” Akon told E! News.
Season 8 winner of “American Idol” Kris Allen said he wants to write a song for Jessica, while Jesse McCartney called her a younger version of Jennifer Hudson and said that he wants to do a duet with her.
Rounding out the rest of the top 4 are Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips, and Hollie Cavanagh.
Congratulations to new mommy, Jessica Simpson, on her 9-lb. 14-oz. baby girl, Maxwell Drew!
Forget selling baby pics to tabloids for a big chunk of change, Jessica Simpson’s new mom status could easily give her a big financial boost. Let’s take a look at what new opportunities have been opened up to her as a mom.
Within her already established branded empire, she could easily add some mom-friendly products to her line, like maternity-wear and diaper bags.
“Once people have babies it puts them in a totally different category. It starts when they get engaged and then they become a mommy and then they have the family. Now we will see the Jessica Simpson collection can go into kids things and baby things,” said Lori Levine, the founder of celebrity-based marketing agency, Flying Television. “Being a mom is her new platform.”
Then there’s endorsement deals. From strollers to stretchmark creams – the companies behind these products want celebrity mothers to promote them.
What about going back to reality TV? The star could give a look into her life as a new mother. I’m thinking “Mommy Moguls,” starring Jessica Simpson, Beyonce, Snooki, and more!
And, of course, you can’t forget all the baby weight. Jessica could pull a Jennifer Hudson and endorse Weight Watchers!
All-in-all, babies can be expensive, but not when you’re a mommy mogul like J.Simp!

And I am telling you… we cannot believe the “from then to wow” Jennifer Hudson transformation!
This side-by-side photo (2007 to 2012) really puts it in perspective!
The one-time ”American Idol” semi-finalist (who somehow only made it to 7th place) has gracefully transformed into a dynamic “Dreamgirl” diva, who has everything from Grammy Awards to Academy Awards to Golden Globe awards under her belt, albeit much thinner now thanks to a spokesperson gig with Weight Watchers.
All things considered, what a fabulous transformation! She looks phenomenal!
The one constant, however, in the Jennifer Hudson transformation into a full-blown superstar, is her extraordinary voice. After the jump, take a trip down memory lane and watch her sing the late Whitney Houston‘s “I Have Nothing” on an episode of Idol from 2007…
America…who’s next — on American Idol season 11?
With her riveting performance of Jennifer Hudson‘s “I Love You I Do,” on last night’s allgirl show, its clear Jessica Sanchez is in it to win it!
Micah Jesse has been writing about Jessica Sanchez for years, saying that “Jay” is going to be a huge star — but let’s see what the judges had to say of her performance:
Randy Jackson: That girl can really sing. One of the best of the last 2 nights.
Jennifer Lopez: The whole things is beyond your years.
Steven Tyler: You’ve got exceptional timing. Your voice is perfect. They need to pay you the next time you sing the National Anthem for the Chargers.
…and there you have it! MJ called it!
