The campaign, started by Mayors Against Illegal Guns, comes a week after the horrific massacre in Newtown and amid the polarizing debate rippling through the U.S. about gun violence and the Second Amendment.

Looking into the camera, they read through a list of some of the 31 similar attacks carried out in the US since Columbine in 1999.

‘Virginia Tech. Tucson. Aurora. Fort Hood. Oak Creek. Newtown. How many more?’ they ask. Watch the moving PSA here:

Dang! There’s a holiday for everything! Ha!

It is reported that nearly a quarter (23%) of Americans have never had a relaxing vacation, and, for those who have, it has been an average of three years since they last took a break from the routine grind of daily life, according to a survey conducted by Princess Cruises..

…and you may, or, again, may not find this shocking, but, it turns out that, even years after her stint on “Friends,” Americans still want to spend a day chilling out with everybody’s “favorite friend,” Jennifer Aniston (28%), even more so than her red carpet rival Kate Hudson (12%).

On the contrary, Charlie Sheen’s antics have not helped his social popularity at all with 39 percent of Americans saying a day spent with Charlie would drive them straight to the ashram for some moments of zen.
