Many people tuned in to the 2012 Tony Awards, hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, on Sunday night to find out who would take home the award for “Best Musical.”

Although it was a tough competition, “Once”, the musical based on the 2006 film that tells a love story of an unlikely couple, ended up winning the Tony. Both the film as well as the and musical use songs by Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard, including the 2007 Oscar-winning song, “Falling Slowly.” The Broadway show stars Steve Kazee and Cristin Milioti.

The other nominees in the category were “Newsies,” “Leap of Faith,” and “Nice Work If You Can Get It.” “Once” was not only nominated 11 times but ended up winning a total of eight Tony Awards including best musical direction, best lead actor in a musical (Steve Kazee), and the categories of orchestration, sound design, scenic design and lighting. WOW!

Congratulations to all those involved in the production!

The Stuff You Must: Access Hollywood’s Annual Golden Globes Gift Lounge

Every year, Access Hollywood in conjunction with On 3 Productions, throws the hottest gift lounge of The Golden Globes – “The Stuff You Must” lounge!

So many stars turned up this year to grab swag from Willy Wonka, New Balance, Slim-Fast, Altec Lansing speaker systems,  and so many more!

Here are some of MJ‘s favorite moments:

While getting pampered at the CVS/Pharmacy Beauty Club, actor Neil Patrick Harris playfully chatted with others around him also getting manicures. He was chatty talking about his new twins but when the manicurist asked about his “wife” his tone shifted into true excitement when he said, “it’s my husband.” Love that!

“The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno’s Ross Mathews picking up his exclusive lifetime subscription to Netflix! An onlooker said, “he looked so excited and was more than happy to pose for pictures.” Shoot, who wouldn’t? That’s a sweet gift!

He’s just a year shy of 80-years-old, but legendary actor William Shatner is more concerned about his health than ever, saying “sign me up!” when he was told about the Slim-Fast 3-2-1 Plan. Also planning to sign up for the plan? Singer and TV personality Aubrey O’Day who said she want’s to “slim down” for the premiere of her new show “All About Aubrey” premiering on Oxygen on March 7th.

Lisa Vanderpump from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” arrived with daughter Pandora and dog Jiggy. She immediately “had a connection” with the Fancy Feast cat and would not leave its side. She even suggested that Jiggy and the cat get married…. “The Bachelorette’s” Ali Fedotowski was also enamored by the famous cat, obliging to take a photo!

Every celeb who stopped by the legendary gift lounge left the glamorous Sofitel Beverly Hills with a Jessica Kagan Cushman (JKC) large “Paris” tote. This was especially a hit amongst the ladies, who got to choose from sayings including “Whatever,” “WTF,” “Alligator Bag,” and ”Be Calm, Carry On.” Jennifer Love-Hewitt was overheard saying how cute it was!

The watch that is worn by our very own Preisdent Barack Obama, Jorg Gray, was a huge hit at the lounge! Celebs such as Jane Lynch, Neil Patrick Harris, Lisa Vanderpump, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Aubrey O’Day, all received a timepiece from the latest collection, and will soon be seen arriving “on-time” in style to their next event!

And – to save the best for last – MJ and his celeBFF Gabourey Sidibe posed for a photo with the “Best Buddies” sign…too cute, or what? But it gets better — CVS/pharmacy donated $100,000 for Best Buddies and Lollipop Theater Network on behalf of all the stars who stopped by.

Now that’s what you call the gift that keeps on givin’!

Halloween + New Years = Fashion’s Night Out 2010

To say that Fashion’s Night Out took over New York City on Friday night (Sept 10) would be the understatement of the year!

Despite crazy traffic all over town, Micah Jesse and crew “popped” all around in the Popchips Mobile, hitting Macy’s Herald Square for an interview with Joss Stone, an impromptu performance of “Livin’ On A Prayer” by American Idol Jordin Sparks at Kiehl’s, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and power publicist Lizzie Grubman holding fort for her newest client, Shopafrolic, at Barneys.

Oh, you thought that was it? No, no… part two:

We then “popped” over to the Meatpacking District, visiting DJ Cassidy at Tory Burch, Christina Ricci at Jeffrey, and the always fabulous Diane Von Furstenberg with the woman responsible for Fashion’s Night Out, editor-in-chief of Vogue Magazine, Anna Wintour.

But that’s still not all!

In the MPD, we also spotted Wyclef Jean, actor Neil Patrick Harris, designer Kimora Lee Simmons and Russell Simmons (not together) and gimmicky branding opportunities from companies like Barbie (a mobile “Catch Me If You Ken” bus with 6 male models posing as Ken), a Maybelline pop-up beauty shop, karaoke tents, live performances in the streets, and so so so much more!

Sounds like fun? It was!

MJ wrapped up an intense evening hosting a table at Legendary Damon‘s party at the Cabana’s at The Maritime Hotel, hanging with friends Estelle, Dawn Richard and boyfriend Que of Day 26, and even spotted the one-and-only Queen Latifah.

As Frankie Valli would say, “Oh whatttttta night!”

What Does Jane Lynch Eat For Lunch?

PHOTO: WireImage

It wasn’t all about scooping awards at the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards for “Glee” star Jane Lynch. Before heading out to celebrate her win, the actress stopped by the P.F. Chang’s Home Menu™ Frozen Moments Gift Lounge backstage to pick up some must-have items.

Lynch, along with a bevvy of other A-listers, came to the lounge hungry, and fed their appetites by giving back to charity!

Loves that!

MJ‘s insider tell us that every celebrity who visited was asked to crack open an over-sized fortune cookie and reveal what moment in their career or in TV history they’d most like to see “frozen” in time, helping support the donation of $50,000 that P.F. Chang’s Home Menu™ made to The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation, which helps shape the future of television while preserving its past!

“Opening the real life ‘Brady Bunch’ in Chicago’” said Jane Lynch.

We say, GO for it!

Other stars that stopped by the hot backstage gift lounge included Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer, Julia Louis Dreyfus, Edie Falco, Neil Patrick Harris, Tracy Morgan, and the stunning Sofia Vergera, among many more!
