Micah Jesse: New York Fashion Week Correspondent For Diet Pepsi!

I am sooooooooo excited to announce that I will be an on-air correspondent for Diet Pepsi, one of the official sponsors of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week!!!!!!!!!

Joining the ranks of a list of celebrity fans and endorsers, including “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara (Watch her newest Diet Pepsi commercial after the jump!), TV host Regis Philbin, supermodel Cindy Crawford, R&B legend Ray Charles, Gwen Stefani, and the judges of The X-Factor — Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger and Epic Records CEO L.A. Reid – I couldn’t be more excited to be on-the-scene, sharing with you all Fashion Week’s most “refreshing moments,” presented by Diet Pepsi.

I’ll be hanging out with fashionable people and celebs at the Jonathan Adler-designed Diet Pepsi Refresh Studio in the Grand Lobby at Lincoln Center, where Fashion Week guests will get to chance to relax and recharge.

Stylist-to-the-stars Leo Velasquez can now add “designer” to his growing resume!

The Queens-born stylist to stars like Usher and Miguel, debuted his premiere collection, Evident Future, at Loft 33 on Friday night (Sept 9) in celebration of New York Fashion Week. Guests, including Miguel and TV personality Jonathan Cheban, enjoyed Hennessy cocktails and miniature oreo cupcakes from Baked By Melissa, before viewing the presentation.

The energy in the room was palpable, with guests gushing about how much they loved each and every piece and can’t wait to see it in stores.

After the presentation, friends, family and fans of Leo’s, ascended uptown to the glamorous Empire Hotel rooftop (which overlooks The Tents) for his official after party, where his guests enjoyed SVEDKA cocktails all night long.

Last week MJ confirmed that Leo Velasquez, who counts celebs like Usher, Miguel, Lamar Odom, and Kid Cudi as some of his styling clients, would be debuting his very first collection this Fashion Week, on September 9th, with an exclusive presentation.

In tune with the digital media age and his insight into the future, the designer just released this little 30-second teaser video for Evident Future and it leaves us wanting more.

Micah Jesse can exclusively confirm that the 27-year-old stylist to stars like Miguel, Usher, Kid Cudi, Lamar Odom, and more, will debut his collection with an invite-only presentation.

The futuristic “men’s only” presentation will be the talk of the town come September. “He’s going to have a female supermodel incorporated in his show…that’s all I can say,” an insider tells MJ exclusively.
