…well, sort of!

Today, Estefan Enterprises and the Nederlander Organization announced they have begun to develop and produce a new Broadway show, inspired by the music made famous by International superstar Gloria Estefan and her husband musician/producer and entrepreneur Emilio Estefan.

The musical will be set in a way that tells the Estefans’ riveting life story detailing their journey all the way from Cuba to superstardom. Additional elements will be announced and worked through with a creative team that will be assigned at a later date.

With seven Grammy Awards and over 100 million albums sold worldwide, Gloria Estefan is the most successful crossover performer in the history of Latin music. No lie!

Don’t tell me you don’t know her hits — “Conga,” The Rhythm is Going To Get You” and “1, 2, 3″ among others. GLORIA is a celebratory favorite around the G-L-O-B-E!

She was won and been honored with practically a bajillion awards over the course of her career — including the American Music Award for Lifetime Achievement, MTV Music Video Awards, BMI Songwriter of the Year, and more and more and more. She was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and has received multiple Billboard Awards for her many chart-topping hits.

Her hubby, Emilio Estefan, is a world-renowned music, television and film producer who has been instrumental in shaping, developing and directing the careers of his superstar wife, as well as Shakira, Ricky Martin, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony and Jon Secada.  With a resume that includes over 30 Grammy nominations and 19 Grammy Awards, Estefan has experimented and pushed the envelope of blending Latin, pop and world rhythms creating a unique style and personality that has created chart-topping worldwide hits.

The TONY Awards are Broadway’s biggest night of the year, and yours truly, Micah Jesse, was on the red carpet chatting with all the stars!

It was a spectacular night, with actors, producers, directors, and more from the Great White Way, mixing and mingling with some of Hollywood’s biggest Heavyweights, like Neil Patrick Harris (who hosted the evening), Hugh Jackman, Cynthia Nixon, Christopher Plummer, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and many many more!

MJ got to chat with some big names like Jessica Chastain, Nick Jonas (“How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying”), Josh Groban, Laura Bell Bundy, Constantine Maroulis, Josh Young (“Jesus Christ Superstar”), Nikki M. James (“The Book of Mormon”), Amanda Seyfried and more, who all couldn’t help but gush about how much they love this special night.

Ricky Martin looked like a million bucks at the opening night festivities for his “Evita” Broadway gig at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. Martin has been working hard and is ready to show off his stage skills!

Kid Cudi spotted on the mic hyping the crowd from the DJ booth at boutique Hollywood nightclub AGENCY Tuesday, as Fernando Garibay, official musical director for Lady Gaga during the making of album “Born This Way,” played an entrancing DJ set.

Mad Men’s Jon Hamm and John Slattery sawing into steaks at Ben Benson’s with NBC’s Brian Williams, Al Roker, Today Show Producer Jim Bell, PR Man Jon Harris and Andy Ostroy of the Adrienne Shelly Foundation. Ben Benson himself came out to greet the crew, who gathered for a charitable lunch to benefit the Foundation.

CMT star Melissa Rycroft kicked off her heels and slipped into some chic and comfy Crocs at The Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas this weekend for some much needed R&R with her family – husband, Tye Strickland and daughter, Ava Grace. Ava Marie was spotted in Croc’s Keely shoes in a Navy/Pink Lemonade.

Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal were spotted out and about in the big apple this week. The stud and his pregnant sister walked through Chinatown while the paparazzi captured some good shots! Nothing like some sibling bonding!

Kim Kardashian goes west…no pun intended. The reality star was spotted at JFK airport catching a flight out of NYC back to good ol’ LA! She looked cute and casual wearing a printed white top and a big smile as well!

Ricky Martin on the cover of Vanity Fair!

Ricky Martin, the one-time booty shaking pop sensation, has slowed down the moves a little, and is focusing on his twins, Matteo and Valentino, and partner Carlos.

The adorable foursome gave the Spanish version of Vanity Fair an inside peek into their sweet world in a new interview titled ”The New Life Of Ricky Martin.” In it, there are an abundance of adorable photos, but the Puerto Rican singer, who received Spanish citizenship four months ago, also speaks in the interview about something a little more pressing: Spain’s law authorizing same-sex marriage, which is being challenged before the Constitutional Court.

“If they touch” that legislation, he said, “now, as a Spanish citizen, I would stand up and unite with my community.”

In the interview, which appears in the April issue of Vanity Fair, the global superstar also explains how he selected the egg donor for his song and rejects the expression “womb for rent.”

“I saw the photo and I said to myself: Who is this woman, so angelic, so transparent? I did not rent a womb. The fundamental conservatives use that expression. They loaned me an abdomen. Stacey Bendet, Kristin Chenoweth, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Kevin Jonas, Danielle Jonas, Krysten Ritter, Ahna O’Rielly, Megan Hilty, Kelly Rutherford, Angela Simmons, Kelly Bensimon and Erin Andrews were spotted at the Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet presentation with music by Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe. It was held at Center 548 in the Big Apple and was a big deal!

The Empire Hotel has been home to fashionista Whitney Port while last minute prepping for her Whitney Eve show tomorrow. She was spotted in the hotel lobby and seemed extremely friendly as she stopped to take photos with fans!

Kris Humphries showed up to Stone Rose Lounge for the tail end of the Betsey Johnson Fall 2012 After-Party last night. He arrived with four guy friends, still wearing his coat and scarf inside the Time Warner Center. Betsey Johnson took the mic and gave a shout out to guests Kris and Richie Rich before making fun of herself for the “less than great cartwheel,” she attempted on stage at her show.

EXTRA’s beautiful Maria Menounos stopped by lia Sophia this week as did many other famous faces including Adrienne Bailon, Carrie Keagan, Brad Goreski, Miss J Alexander, Jenna Bush and Louise Roe. With MBFW bringing out the most fashionable stars, Lia Sophia seemed to be a stop on everyone’s list!

Bar Refaeli and Stacy Keibler (girlfriend of actor George Clooney) were both spotted at the Marchesa Fall 2012 Fashion Show checking out some hot new styles. The two sat next to one another which, may have drawn more attention then the presentation!

Not-so-young (but looking more gorgeous than ever!) comedian, Kathy Griffin, “raises the roof” at NYLON Magazine’s May Young Hollywood issue celebration, hosted by Emma Roberts + Rory Culkin, on Wednesday night (May 4) in L.A.

The YouTube & Onitsuka Tiger-sponsored event was DJ’ed by Lindsay Luv and had Hollywood’s most beloved young actors and actresses dancing the night away at hotspot Bardot.

Roberts and Culkin were joined by their celeBFFs and celebs alike including Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden, music artists Jordin Sparks and JoJo, actor Emile Hirsch, Paris Hilton, Glee’s Jenna Ushkowitz, Chord Overstreet, Kevin McHale — and! — Darren Criss, The City’s Whitney Port and boyfriend Ben Nemtin, Dancing With the Stars’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and many more!

Its that time of year again — the teams are on fire, and celebrities come out of the woodwork in order to catch a glimpse of the NBA Playoff action!

Pop sensation Joe Jonas (along with Mekhi Phifer, Don Johnson, Andy Garcia, Ricky Martin, and Chord Overstreet) unfortunately had to watch the LA Lakers lose to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, May 2nd at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Lakers weren’t the only team getting some celebrity support, Rick Ross, Diddy, and Drake all were on the sidelines cheering on the Miami Heat!
