On Thursday night in NYC, Samsung celebrated the launch of its Samsung Experience Shops at Best Buy locations nationwide, as well as the arrival of the brand new Galaxy S 4 smartphone, with a big ‘ole megabash!

To get the party started, Rev Run (of Run DMC) joined DJ Ruckus for a 45-minute set, after which guests were treated to an intimate concert by Bruno Mars, who played fan favorites including “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Marry you,” “Treasure” and “When I Was Your Man.”

At the concert, guests – including Rosario Dawson, singer Jason Derulo, Katrina Bowden (30 Rock) and Vincent Piazza (Boardwalk Empire) – were treated to an interactive experience resembling a giant Samsung Experience Shop featuring all of Samsung’s hottest new technology such as the brand new Galaxy S 4 smartphone and Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet, as well as the Galaxy Camera, the Galaxy Note II and more.

You’re probably thinking what the *&#^*&$* does a soda-flavored cupcake taste like!? Well let me tell you — Diet Pepsi hit the nail on the head with their limited-edition Baked By Melissa collabo, that debuted at New York Fashion Week just a few months ago.

Celebrity fans of Baked By Melissa include Kim Kardashian, Betsey Johnson, Kelly Ripa, Rosario Dawson, and Rachael Ray, just to name a few.

Last night was totally “flawsome!”

AXSLive was LIVE on the yellow carpet at Tyra Banks‘ first annual Flawsome Ball, benefitting the supermodel’s TZONE organization at the Lower East Side Girls Club.

The “America’s Next Top Model” host talked about the word “flawsome” (a combination of “flaws” and “awesome”), how she prepared for this very special night, and much more.

On the carpet, I also got a chance to catch up with Chanel Iman, Padma Lakshmi, Soledad O’Brien, John Leguizamo, Rosario Dawson, YouTube phenomenon Keenan Cahill, Kelly Cutrone, and Dylan Lauren.

It seems that his real life personality does not reflect his character on the show; the onscreen player was busy attending to his blond beauty all night long. On Saturday afternoon, the LG Cinema 3D HDTV Gift Lounge was host to the hottest celebrities including, Vanessa Hudgens, who was arm-in-arm with co-star Josh Hutcherson after her recent split from Zac Efron, Rosario Dawson, Gossip Girl’s Michelle Trachtenberg, Oscar nominees and gal pals Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman, Hilary Swank, Gerard Butler, Jane Lynch, Malin Akerman, Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg, Mad Men’s Jon Hamm and his lady Jennifer Westfeldt, Avatar’s Zoe Saldana, Anne Heche and boyfriend James Tupper, Private Practice’s Kate Walsh and Taye Diggs, Spirit Awards host Joel McHale, Spirit Awards nominee Sunrise Coigney and husband Mark Ruffalo, actress Nia Vardalos, and The Office’s Kate Flannery, Rainn Wilson, and Craig Robinson.

The new LG Cinema 3D HDTV certainly made an impression on the guests, in fact, many of them took one home that night!

Comedian Joel McHale tried on the LG Cinema 3D HDTV glasses and jokingly exclaimed, “I look like a Kardashian!”

Some of the other goodies stars swept up at the gift lounge included, Pure Dark chocolate, Nautica swimsuits, Vera Bradley beach totes, AMC Theater gift cards, and New Balance RevLite 890 shoes.

On Thursday night (May 6), actress Rosario Dawson celebrated her birthday with a star-studded bash at new hotspot Kastel in the Trump SoHo in New York City.

The actress, who shared her birthday with Yellow Fever owner Jamison Ernest, was all smiles all night long — especially being presented with a birthday cake made from Baked by Melissa cupcakes in the shape of an “R” (for Rosario) and “J” (for Jameson).

Also in attendance was actor Zachary Quinto, Russell Simmons, designer Yigal Azrouel, Karolina Kurkova, actress Paz de la Huerta, singer Shontelle, models Jessica Hart, Selita Ebanks and Jaslene Gonzalez.
