The amazing Eva Longoria is now putting her efforts and shine in a different direction- politics!

Longoria and Musician Jerry Jeff Walker are coming together to host a big benefit in order to raise money for the re-election of President Barack Obama. The concert will take place on July 17th, somewhere in Texas. Longoria and Walker are not the only celebrities using their stardom to draw attention to Obama. They follow in the footsteps on Anna Wintour, Sarah Jessica Parker, and George Clooney!

This Tuesday, Miss Wintour (editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine) and Sarah Jessica Parker will be hosting a $40,000 per-plate fundraiser in NYC.

The food better be deeeeeeeelish! (Kidding)

This fundraiser, which SJP began promoting at the MTV Video Music Awards last week, will help support the re-election of our president, Barack Obama.

Let’s hope she can top George Clooney‘s fundraiser last month that pulled in about 15 million dollars!

All of your favorite stars got dressed in their best for the Seventh Annual UNICEF Snowflake Ball on Tuesday night in NYC!

Television personality Andy Cohen hosted the big event and there was even a special performance by Natasha Bedingfield!

At the black-tie celebration, held at Cipriani 42^nd Street in New York City, the UNICEF Snowflake was lit and those who contribute to UNICEF’s mission were honored.  Two big awards given out during the ball were the Spirit of Compassion Award and the Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award, which were given to Sharon Taylor of Prudential and Executive Director of the Japan Committee for UNICEF Ken Hayami, respectively.

The UNICEF Snowflake lighting, which has become a New York holiday staple, is a tradition representing the organization’s commitment to a future where children do not die from avoidable causes.

Stars that showed their support at the event included Kevin Jonas, Uma Thurman, Brian Williams, and Sarah Jessica Parker, among many others.

All Snowflake Ball proceeds benefit the UNICEF U.S. Fund.

Stepping out for a fashionable evening, Jessica Biel was on-hand for the Fashion Group International 28th Annual Night of Stars in New York City! Biel looked glamorous in a white Giambattista Valli Fall 2011 Couture gown as she took to the black tie gala held at Cipriani 55 Wall Street.

Kicking off the weekend a bit early, Miley Cyrus and Kelly Osbourne were spotted at the Little Door nightclub in LA! Ms. Osbourne was in the house to celebrate her 27th birthday and was joined byher mother Sharonand hey boyfriend Anton Lombardi.

The stars of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II,” Rupert Grint, Daniel Radcliffe, and a stunning Emma Watson pose for a “HOT SHOT” on the red carpet at the film’s North American premiere in NYC on Monday night (Jul 11).

The red carpet glittered with stars like Sarah Jessica Parker and hubby Matthew Broderick (with their son), Melissa Joan Hart, Sarah Ryland, Jay Manuel (in Alexander McQueen), and many more.

Users voted Jennifer Aniston #1 in a new Bing survey released in conjunction with the launch of their new search feature that integrates your trusted Facebook friends into the convenience of your search. Aniston was the top choice for Bing fans when asked, “What celebrity would you trust to help decide what your new haircut should be, if they were your friend on Facebook”, beating out famous hair worthy celebs like Kate Gosslen, Donald Trump and Snooki.

What shocked MJ is that although fans may love Justin Bieber’s music, it seems they don’t share the same “Bieber Fever” for his locks, as the tween sensation was the least trusted celebrity to help decide a new haircut.

Reese Witherspoon’s classic understated style is a favorite among users as she beat out Sarah Jessica Parker, Blake Lively, and Lady Gaga as the top celebrity users would trust to help choose a piece for their summer wardrobe.
