Did you know that today (Feb. 4) is World Cancer Day?

Stand Up To Cancer acknowledges this annual occasion every year, this year with a new video addressing the question, “Who Do You Stand Up For?” Celebrity supporters of SU2C, including Tim McGraw, Emma Stone, Seth Rogen, Tom Hanks, Carson Daly, Ethan Zohn, and many more, share their personal thoughts and placard dedications to mark the day. The 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards

It’s awards season… and MJ‘s favorite award show is this weekend in Los Angeles!

No, sillies — not The Academy Awards — that’d be too obvious. We absolutely love love love the Film Independent Spirit Awards!

Why?

Because it’s the night before the Oscar’s, it’s on the beach in Santa Monica, and everyone is in a damn good mood.

Last year, MJ met everyone from “Precious” star Mo’Nique to Ryan Reynolds to Jodie Foster who stopped by the Official Talent Gift Lounge to pick up some scorching hot swag. This year, stars will be walking away with a styling kit from Wella Professionals, one year memberships to AMC Theaters and Crunch Gym, a one-year supply of Emergen-C, designer sunglasses from Marchon, New Balance shoes, and more.

We can’t wait to see who turns up this year as funnyman Seth Rogen hosts the evening’s festivities.

In between movie screenings, meetings, panels and swag suites at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, tons of celebs stopped by the Bertolli Meal Soup Chalet at Park City’s Sky Lodge to warm up with some soup and help “Ladle The Love.” Celebrity do-gooders who stopped by and signed a ladle on the “Ladles of Love” wall helped to support Bertolli’s mission to donate 400,000 meals to Feeding America.

Amazing, right????

Notables such as Justin Long (pictured above with MJ), Jesse Williams, Isla Fisher, Laura Prepon, Andie Macdowell, Byrdie Bell, and Seth Rogen, Ari Gaynor among many others, stopped by the Bertolli Meal Soup Chalet to relax, unwind, and warm up with a delicious bowl of soup.

“This is amazing — thank you for doing this!” said actor Justin Long before signing his ladle, in support of the “Ladles of Love” program.
