The amazing Eva Longoria is now putting her efforts and shine in a different direction- politics!
Longoria and Musician Jerry Jeff Walker are coming together to host a big benefit in order to raise money for the re-election of President Barack Obama. The concert will take place on July 17th, somewhere in Texas. Longoria and Walker are not the only celebrities using their stardom to draw attention to Obama. They follow in the footsteps on Anna Wintour, Sarah Jessica Parker, and George Clooney!
So tell MJ, who do you think will be the next celeb to endorse the re-election? Tweet @MicahJesse!

Pop Princess Britney Spears does not do interviews (okay, rarely!) but she just sat down with OUT Magazine for a Q&A that is surprisingly insightful!
Dig in, pop stars…
How did you spend the first big check you received?
On a bright white Mercedes convertible.
When was the first time you saw a Britney Spears drag queen?
In New Orleans singing “Slave 4 U.” I almost died!
When you were starting out, whose career did you want to mold yours after?
Madonna. No question. She is an amazing entertainer. Besides Madonna, I also admire Sarah Jessica Parker’s career and her shoe collection.
Are there any of your songs that you wish you hadn’t recorded/you don’t really love?
No. All of my songs are f–ing amazing.
My idea of hell is…
Being on a diet.
My idea of heaven is…
A trip with my kids.
If you hadn’t become a superstar, what career do you think you would have chosen?
I was in seventh grade and it was career day and I remember thinking that I wanted to be an entertainment lawyer. I always knew I would be in this business somehow. I think this path worked out way better.

What is the best advice you’ve gotten and who was it from?
My mom said when you have a bad day, eat ice cream. That’s the best advice

What is your ideal way to spend a Sunday?
Playing with my boys, getting some frozen yogurt, working out, and taking a nap.
What is the dumbest, most ridiculous rumor that has been printed about you?
That I was an alien.
What is the rumor that hurt the most?
That I had died in a car accident.
What women (living or dead) could make you think twice about your sexuality?
I only have eyes for men.
Who is your favorite Golden Girl?
Betty White, because she’s so sweet and innocent.

The best part of being famous is…
Being able to reach people and hopefully make them happy.
The worst part of being famous is…
Giving up your privacy.
How does the thought of turning 30 later this year make you feel?
I’m excited to be out of my 20s.
How do you feel about plastic surgery?
When it’s time to pull and tuck, I’m sure I will consider it.
I first learned about sex…
When I was 12 years old. From my mom. I was confused and disgusted.
Kissing Madonna was…
Cool.
You’ve been married twice — once for only 55 hours. How do you feel about gay marriage?
I think everyone should be treated equally.
Lady Gaga is…
Unique.
Christina Aguilera is…
Truly talented.
Britney Spears is…
ME!
Who wasn’t at the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards this week?
MJ somehow missed the invite (LOL!), but everyone showed up in head-to-toe glamour at Alice Tully Hall in NYC, including A-list actresses like Gwyneth Paltrow, Rachel Weisz, and Sarah Jessica Parker to A-list designers like Marc Jacobs, Diane Von Furstenberg, Jason Wu, and Michael Kors to A-list models like Iman and Jessica Stam to A-list singers like David Bowie…
A genius turn out!
Don’t fear! WireImage is here!
Catch quick lil’ glimpses of all your favorite stars like Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Chris Noth, costume designer Patricia Field (and her gang of beautiful crazies), and more!

On Friday evening (Apr 30), Sarah Jessica Parker attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of “Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston” at the SVA Theater in NYC.
Also at the American Express-sponsored event was director Whitney Smith, socialite Olivia Palermo and her too-hot-for-words boyfriend, as well as actor John Leguizamo.
MJ asked SJP, who is currently a creative executive on the re-vamped Halston Heritage line, if she knows yet what she is wearing to the Sex and the City 2 premiere (which is less than a month away).
We were surprised by her answer of: “I don’t know…I don’t know… we’ll see!” (But we’re sure it will be a knock-out!)
However — we did catch an exclusive video of her leaving the premiere last night, check it out below!
[Thank you to American Express for always taking such good care of MJ!]

Check out one of spring’s hottest pairs – the white boyfriend blazer and neutral sheath!! (You heard it here first!)
Now you can nab Sarah Jessica Parker’s fashion forward style with these amazing separates from Theory. To get this red carpet look, stylist Karin Nelson paired Theory’s double-breasted “Blinn” blazer (retail price: $395) and “Mocha” sheath dress (retail price: $255).
The whole look is available at Theory.com!
The best part about this look is you’re able to achieve a similar look at a affordable price… because not everyone can be SJP!
We love it!
