Every year, the stars come out in droves to Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival — where each year it becomes less and less about the films and more and more about the parties and swag suites. For those that don’t know what “swag” means — it’s free sh*t — and the stars love every bit of it! MJ was (un)fortunately not there this year, but here’s a round up of where the stars were out and about all week:

Matthew McConaughey, Ron Livingston and Allison Janey came through the Samsung Galaxy Lounge at the Village At The Lift in Park City to learn about the newest Samsung devices. According to insiders, McConaughey’s not pigging out to gain back weight after dropping nearly 50 pounds for a film role. “Matthew is on a special diet to put on weight, He’s eating fish because it’s healthier.”

Julianne Moore, Naomi Watts and a very pregnant Kristen Bell were all spotted warming up at the McDonald’s McCafe Lodge.

“Extra” TV host Mario Lopez and Courtney Mazza were just some of the celebs that stopped by the Dove Color Care Salon to get pampered within the Talent Resources TR Gifting Suite.

Katy Perry co-hosted the GiveLove charity event with J. Molinari Jewelry designers Markus Molinari and Jason Arasheben during the Grand Opening weekend of 1 OAK Las Vegas at The Mirage. Katy presented a check for $50,000 to the charity’s co-founders, Patricia Arquette and Rosetta Getty, as well as board-member David Arquette. The group enjoyed performances by DJ/violin duo Mia Moretti and Caitlin Moe and Jordanian-American pop singer Ferras.

Several familiar faces were spotted at The Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center’s Honoring of Rachel Zoe this week! Anne Hathaway, Kelly Osbourne, and Mandy Moore were amongst some of the stars at the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood!

Blake Lively was spotted at the Jason Wu for Target launch party in New York City actress was all smiles with fellow star Chloe Moretz at the swanky Skylight SoHo venue. Fun in NYC!

Nicole Kidman drew a swarm of shutterbugs while dining out in Los Angeles. The star looked beautiful as she excited Joan’s On Third café following a relaxing lunch with a few of her closest gal pals!

Jessica Alba was busy with another interview at The Grove in Los Angeles. Looking beautiful as ever, Alba joined Mario Lopez for “Extra” during which time she was surprised with a gift bag full of baby items for her 5-month-old daughter Haven!

Justin Bieber was on hand at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles, paying tribute to the late king of pop! After being introduced by Paris Jackson, Biebs took the stage to give homage to Michael Jackson with a few special words and a few high notes!

I’m sooo excited to be heading to Park City, Utah for the 2012 Sundance Film Festival!

This weekend, celebrities will be all over town at premieres, screenings, gift and beauty lounges — and hanging out with me — at the Bertolli Meal Soup Chalet to show support for the “Ladles of Love program”, a great cause benefitting Feeding America.

We’ve been hearing whispers of lots of celebs roaming around town, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Drake, Michael Cera, Lizzie Olsen, Rashida Jones, Will Ferrell, Kirsten Dunst, Jason Mraz, Mary J. Blige, Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell, Spike Lee, Kristen Bell, William H. Macy, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana and many many more!

Entertainment Tonight’s Maria Menounos celebrated her new book “The EveryGirl’s Guide to Life” making the New York Times Bestseller List with her closest friends in Los Angeles on Friday (April 22).

We hear that the 32-year-old actress and TV host mingled with guests as they sipped MARTINI Bellini’s in the chic courtyard inside Melrose Avenues newest boutique, Shay Todd (set to open to the public in two weeks).

A glowing Jessica Abla even stopped by — and we’re told Maria told Jess how she got the news via e-mail that morning that her book was #3 on the New York Times Bestseller list. (Cue, “What a Feelin’!”)

Other celeBFF’s of Maria’s that came by to celebrate the good news: Cheryl Hines, Rachael Harris, Rachelle Leferve and Michael Chiklis.

James Franco got bombarded by fans upon leaving the Silver Lounge in Park City, Utah, but the scorching hot actor kept his cool before heading off to watch fellow actor Michelle Williams‘ film.

MJ loves the ending — where the fans scream “We love James Franco!” — while the actor patiently and graciously signs autographs.

Now that’s a true celebrity!

Looking every bit a sexy snow bunny, Carmen Electra has “signed in” at Sundance!

She stopped by the Talent Resources Suites at the Gateway Center and autographed the Corona Light snowboard, which is being auctioned off.

Other celebs who stopped to “sign in” included NFL’er Terrell Owens, Canadian model Jayde Nicole, actress Anne Heche, and “Access Hollywood” cutie Maria Menounos.

Things are really heating up in chilly Park City!

Yes, that’s Academy Award-winning actress Susan Sarandon and… wait for it… rapper-turned-DJ Lil’ Jon.

Sue and Jon were snapped hanging out pingin’ and pongin’ at the opening of the Bing Bar/SPiN Happy Hour on Main Street in Park City.

The week may have just kicked off, but the twosome, hands down, win the award for The 2011 Sundance Film Festival’s “Most Unlikely Pair!”
