For the sixth year in a row, Doritos is crowdsourcing its two Super Bowl ads. Five finalists have been selected but MJ is rooting for the Doritos goat (whose name, oddly enough is Moose)!
Finalist Ben Callner (who also happens to hail from the ATL) said that his goat-owning friend (and eventual ad co-writer) Steve Colby inspired the spot. “So my buddy came in, and he literally just kind of off-handed said, ‘Hey, my goat eating and crunching on food is really funny,’” he said in a making of video. “And that was it. ‘OK, that was a really random sentence, thank you.’ And so we Googled ‘goats eating chips,’ and we cracked up.” Watch the hilarious ad now:
“They’re so sweet,” Colby told Fox Atlanta. ”I really got goats because I thought that they wouldn’t be affectionate, I just kind of wanted some animals. But they want to be right next to you … they’re wonderful.”
“Goats 4 Sale” is up against 4 other consumer created ads: two starring dogs, one starring men in dresses, and another that has a blind man hitting another fellow in the groin. Doritos execs will select one winner and the other will be selected by online votes. Thus far, “Goats 4 Sale” has the most views on the Doritos Crash the Superbowl site (currently 460,000).
Just a few months ago, legendary pop icon Madonna participated in the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project 2011, which aimed to find the world’s best new dancer among ten’s of thousands of entries through a global dance competition. The final dance-off competition took place at the historic Roseland Ballroom in New York City where Madonna and her choreographers selected Memphis native Lil Buck as the winner from 10 global finalists.
Lil Buck’s prize included an opportunity to join Madonna’s dance crew. “Joining Madonna’s dance crew has been a dream come true. I have already learnt so much and can not thank Smirnoff enough for this life-changing opportunity,” commented Lil Buck on working with Madge.
His first gig? Oh, just the Super Bowl! Hear some initial thoughts from Lil’ Buck:
Having recently won $500,000 betting on the New York Giants in the NFC Championship game, 50 Cent is pushing his luck on another bet that will cost him a bit more than money – his dignity.
He accepted a bet from Twitter follower @MyBestAssets to post a nude picture to Twitter if the Giants lose the Super Bowl!
When Fiddy’s not betting on the New York Giants, he’s still supporting the Super Bowl with his music. Suzuki’s 2012 Super Bowl television spot, “Sled,” features 50 Cent’s song “Movin’ On Up.”

“Give Me All Your Luvin’” is the first single from her upcoming album, MDNA.
Madonna will world preview the video from her new single (which looks like it has a football theme!) during American Idol on February 2.
Will you be watching Madge on American Idol or the Super Bowl or both?
This is totally freaking hilarious!
A new video just hit the web (shocker!) inspired by the “Sh*t Girls Say” series. This one will totally make you LOL — especially if you’re familiar with her famous one-liners and sometimes odd behavior – Sh*t Madonna Says!
In the video, the Madonna impersonator hits on everything from her English accent to her not-so-secret-anymore rivalry with Lady Gaga. “Reductive… look it up!”
Who’s excited to see Madonna perform at the Super Bowl? Us! Us!! Us!!!!!
