On Monday (Apr 1) I had the pleasure of sitting down with singer Andy Grammer for a LIVE 30-minute interview on Music Choice’s show “U&A.” We talked about everything from his beginnings as a “busker” (street performer) in Los Angeles to performing with the incredible Taylor Swift.

Pop star Selena Gomez graces the cover of the brand new issue of NYLON Magazine. In the article, the Disney beauty-turned-adult actress opens up to the mag about her upcoming role in the controversial film Spring Breakers, her on-again-off-again relationship with superstar Justin Bieber, and her friendship with American sweetheart, Taylor Swift. Here are some highlights from the interview:

On Justin Bieber and love:
As of press time, it seems like her megawatt relationship with Justin Bieber is on-again—“I’m having fun,” she says coyly of her relationship status—but for the latest updates, please consult your smartphone. “It blows my mind that somebody wakes up every morning and goes to their little office and meets with people to just make stuff up,” says Gomez of her endless and oft-imaginative press coverage. She shrugs it off, refraining from reading the blogs “unless it’s really bad and I need to know.” But surely it’s comforting to date someone who knows the drill. “At the end of the day, love is such a nor- mal thing, and everyone deals with it. Just because it’s a dif- ferent lifestyle doesn’t change the meaning of what I’ve been raised on, which is fairy tales.”

On her role in the family-unfriendly film, Spring Breakers:
“I’ve told parents, ‘Make sure you don’t let your kids see Spring Breakers’, because with the title you could think it would be cute or something. I know it isn’t for the younger generation I have following me, but I’m also about to be 21.”

On experiencing her own Spring Break:
“I don’t think I’ve even had a spring break,” Gomez says. But making the film allowed her to experience it vicariously, “doing things that I would get so much hate and in trouble for,” like under-age drinking, felony narcotics possession, and grand theft auto. “I had to have someone show me how to hold the cigarette,” says Gomez.

On her last tour and shift towards acting:
“if I start doing things because I want to stay relevant or I want people to like me, then I’m just going to be miserable.”

On her friendship with Taylor Swift:
“We both experienced the same things at the same time,” she says. “But we’ve never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I’d go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It’s so hard to trust girls, so I’m lucky to have her.”

I caught up with the band at the Z100 Jingle Ball 2012 kickoff party at the Aeropostale store in Times Square, where they were on hand to perform and to announce the rest of the line-up for the annual concert, which will include Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, One Direction, fun., Ne-Yo, Jason Mraz and many more.

The Z100 Jingle Ball 2012 is taking place at Madison Square Garden on Friday, December 7 at 7:30p.m.

Looks like Taylor Swift is getting comfortable with the Kennedys! The country music princess just dropped $5 MILLION on a new home in Cape Cod, right across the street from the Kennedys! Having spent the past few days becoming one with the Kennedy clan, Taylor seems like she’s headed in a more serious direction. Adorbs!

The 22-year-old starlet is currently dating Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s son, Conor, 18, and according to reports, has just purchased a home in Hyannis Port, Mass., across the street from Conor’s grandmother Ethel.

It has been said that T-Swiz is “swept off her feet” by Conor, and has gained many admirers within the Kennedy clan, with Ethel‘s daughter Rory calling Taylor “a great friend of all of ours.”

Pink will first promote what the brand is calling a “bold new mascara innovation,” and will go on to celebrate “beauty with an edge,” as the star has come to be known to possess. The first ads of her campaign will debut this fall. Can’t wait!

Red hot former “Desperate Housewives” star Marcia Cross was spotted getting a Pink Smoothie gel manicure at Bellacures in Santa Monica this week.

The stars stepped out this week as they enjoyed a night of music with family and friends by attending the Coldplay concert. The lovely Ashley Tisdale was spotted entering The Hollywood Bowl venue with her parents while Gwen Stefani made her arrival in a bright pink jacket! Cameron Diaz was also in attendance.

Country cutie Taylor Swift was spotted leaving Neil Lane Jewelry store in LA this week. The beautiful songstress rocked pretty gold flats as she walked out of the store sporting some new bling.
