‘American Idol’ Champ Kris Allen Reveals His Favorite Season 11 Finalist!

Winning “American Idol” doesn’t mean you stop watching it!

Season eight winner Kris Allen has been follow this season of “Idol,” calling it “pretty hard-core.”

Allen’s favorite contestant?  ”The person who sticks out to me the most is Joshua Ledet.  He’s got something about his voice, and I think every time he gets up on that stage, he just brings it.”

“He’s so young, but he’s got this thing about him,” continued Allen. “He’s a great performer and he puts everything into his performances. He’s got something else. He’s got a lot of grit to his voice, but he’s dynamic about it. It’s very cool.”

Allen will get a chance to see Ledet and the other remaining finalists perform live when he returns to the “Idol” stage himself.  The former “Idol” champ will be performing his new song, “The Vision of Love,” on April 19.

Hmm…I wonder if Allen would ever consider doing a duet with Ledet!
