Could the controversial Aubrey O’Day (left) and America’s Next Top Model winner Caridee English be more than just friends?
Tuesday night, at gay bar Barracuda in Chelsea the two were pap snapped kissing. The Danity Kane singer was invited by party promoter Jasen Kaplan to sing a few songs for the gays at their weekly karaoke night.
Aubrey sang part of “Damaged,” “Show Stoppers,” and two songs from Hairspray.
The gays went ga ga for Miss O’Day, who said she loves the gay community while on stage. She also said she has a specific line of shirts for “her gay boys” from her new clothing company Heart on my Sleeve, which Caridee is a model for:
Afterwards, Aubrey and crew (including Caridee, friends, and some of her cast mates from Hairspray) headed to hotspot 1Oak to dance and swing from the stripper poles.

I never knew who Aubrey was or Danity Kane until recently. I read an article in the NY times about Aubrey and was really impressed with her educational background and charity work. Recently I see that she get’s a lot of bad press that refers to her as a not so nice name. So what I don’t understand is why she would allow a pic like this to be taken and posted so that more negative press can be generated about her. I also wonder how this bad press effects the group that she is in. She is still apart of Danity Kane right? You seem to be rather close to her can you explain why?

I was there & it was just a friendly little peck on the lips.. no biggie. I’ve done way worse then that with my girl friends when we’re out drinking & having a good time.
