Your favorite blogger (yes, yes…thats us) decided to pop into a club that we would not ordinarily go to on Friday night and had quite some trouble at the door.
Well, thanks to this platform for expression, MICAHJESSE.COM, we hope that we will get our point across.
The man who decided to have a power trip – his name is Stefan – made quite a mistake in turning us down on Friday night.
Not only have we been to Pink Elephant in New York City and Southampton numerous numerous times – we are also friends with two of the owners.
Stefan said that we needed to be wearing a collared shirt. HA!!!! We don’t even own a collared shirt, nor would we ever wear one in New York City to go out. Sorry, buster badass!
He continued that Pink Elephant has a “dress code” and we couldn’t be wearing a v-neck shirt. Hmm.. interesting!
That’s enough of our tirade for now – we hope our point is well-taken and Stefan won’t make the same mistake again.
But until we get a formal apology for how we were treated we WILL NOT be going back to Pink Elephant under any circumstances.
Sucks!

you shouldn’t be so entitled. i highly doubt pink elephant cares whether a blogger in a sea of bloggers makes it inside of their club. there is no reason to be this belligerent. the doorman was just doing his job and was probably given instruction by your friends, the owners of the club. would your head have even fit inside the door?
