We are orlando

Not even a week after the horrific terrorist attack on Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, I gathered notable New Yorkers to raise money for the victims and families via Equality Florida LLC and with the generous support of fundraising platform, Crowdrise. Together, we raised over $25,000. Notable attendees at the event included The Blonds, Noah Neiman of Rumble Boxing, Vicky Jeudy of "Orange Is The New Black," journalist Alicia Quarles, DJ Hannah Rad of Revolt TV and many more. Sponsors of the fundraiser included World Yacht, Stella Artois, ABSOLUT Vodka, WTRMLN WTR, Balloon Kings New York, Popchips Ridges, and Baked By Melissa.

In 2015, Micah embarked on his first foray into fashion design with a pin collaboration: PINTRILL x Micah Jesse. Together with the creative team at PINTRILL, they designed three pins: a passport (that reads "Yaaassport"), a peach (an homage to Micah's home state), and a Love Wins pin that benefited Equality Florida's Pulse Orlando fund.


In 2012, iconic womenswear designer Betsey Johnson sought out Micah to emcee her nationwide in-store appearances. Together they are absolutely unstoppable and have visited almost every major city across the United States, from Los Angeles to Louisville. Department Stores including: Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom, Belk, Dillard's and Von Maur.

Micah hosts exclusive backstage designer Q&A's for Cardmembers and is, essentially, the "face" of American Express at MADE Fashion Week in New York City. Season after season, Micah brings Cardmembers backstage and with him in the front row. Interviews have included CFDA president Steven Kolb, Jeremy Scott, Jonathan Simkhai, Public School, The Blonds, Wes Gordon and more.
